Aerolíneas incorporó a su flota un nuevo Airbus A330-200. De esta manera el tercer A330 nuevo de fábrica para Aerolíneas Argentinas, un Airbus A-330-202 LV-GHQ (msn 1737) realizó el vuelo de entrega AR1085, trayecto directo Toulouse – Ezeiza arribando a la Argentina el día viernes 5 de agosto de 2016. En nuevo A330-200 tiene una configuración para 24 pasajeros en primera clase y 243 en clase turista. [*]
Otro A330-200, el LV-GHQ estaría arrivando a la Argentina en los próximos días, y el A330-200 LV-GKO en próximas semanas.
En cuanto a las desprogramaciones de aeronaves se encuentra el A340 LV-CEK. Aerolíneas Argentinas se prevee que se efectúe la baja comercial el día 15 de agosto de 2016 al realizarse el último vuelo del A340 el LV-CEK para su devolución. Las devoluciones de otroas dos aeronaves de este tipo están programadas: el LV-CSE a partir del 15 de septiembre de 2016, mientras que el A340 LV-CSX se prevee devolverlo a su lessor para principios de 2017.
En la flota Boeing 737, para el 2 de octubre de 2016 se prevee el último vuelo comercial del LV-CSI y devolución a su lessor arrendaterio.
