Airbus entrega a Kuwait Airways primer Airbus A320NEO
Kuwait Airways ha tomado entrega del primer Airbus A320NEO el Viernes 30 Agosto 2019 en la factoría de Finkenwerder, Hamburgo, Alemania. El Presidente CEO de Kuwait Airways, Youssef Al-Jassem presente en una ceremonia en la que Kuwait Airways recibió el primer avión Airbus A320NEO del fabricante europeo, en Hamburgo, Alemania. El CEO expresó que era «un momento importante en la historia de la compañía y que estaba muy feliz de haber recibido el avión equipado con tecnología de punta y eficiencia de ahorro de combustible».
La nueva aeronave Airbus A320NEO, que volaría a la República de Kuwait hoy Sábado 31/08, marcaría el inicio de la entrega de un total de 28 A320NEO hasta 2026, que se uniría a los 10 Boeing 777-333 ER en operaciones. El nuevo A320NEO está configurado con capacidad para 134 pasajeros, este avión es el primero de 15 aviones A320NEO que se unirán a la flota 13 aeronaves de otras versiones de Airbus.
Al-Jassem dijo que el desarrollo de la flota de Kuwait Airways estaba en línea con la estrategia de la compañía de proporcionar los mejores servicios para los pasajeros. «Estamos presenciando saltos en el número de pasajeros, y esperamos que el número sea de alrededor de cinco millones de pasajeros para fines de este año», agregó el CEO.

The CEO of Kuwait Airways, Youssef Al-Jassem present at a ceremony in which Kuwait Airways received the first Airbus A320NEO aircraft from the European manufacturer, in Hamburg, Germany. The CEO said it was «an important moment in the company’s history and that he was very happy to have received the aircraft equipped with state-of-the-art technology and fuel efficiency».
The new Airbus A320NEO aircraft, which would fly to the Republic of Kuwait today Saturday 31/08, would mark the start of the delivery of a total of 28 A320NEO until 2026, which would join the 10 Boeing 777-333 ER in operations. The new A320NEO is configured with capacity for 134 passengers, this aircraft is the first of 15 A320NEO aircraft that will join the fleet 13 aircraft from other versions of Airbus.
Al-Jassem said the development of the Kuwait Airways fleet was in line with the company’s strategy of providing the best services for passengers. «We are witnessing jumps in the number of passengers, and we expect the number to be around five million passengers by the end of this year», the CEO added.
The Director-General of Airbus Middle East Fuad Al-Attar, in an opening speech, said that the delivery of the aircraft will further strengthen cooperation and relations between the two sides. The A320NEO delivery, he added, marked the 65th Anniversaries of Kuwait Airways. A \ W
