GKN Aerospace suministrará EWIS para Boeing 777X

GKN Aerospace ha firmado un nuevo acuerdo multianal con The Boeing Company para proporcionar Sistemas de Interconexión de Cableado Eléctrico (EWIS) para la familia de aviones Boeing 777X. GKN Aerospace has signed a new multi-year agreement with The Boeing Company to provide Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS) for the Boeing 777X family of aircraft. With this agreement, the manufacturer expands its Boeing EWIS product portfolio. Production under the contract will begin in 2024. Delivery of the systems will take place from various company locations, including Langfang, China, as well as the installation of advanced cabling in Pune, India. The company has been supplying EWIS to multiple Boeing aircraft platforms for more than two decades.

GKN Aerospace has 15,000 employees at 48 manufacturing locations in 14 countries around the world. In February 2020, GKN Fokker Elmo received a contract to supply EWIS for the new Boeing 777X family. The company started production of the 777X EWIS at the end of the first quarter of 2020 to be delivered from various locations, including China, the Netherlands and India.
