Servicio non-stop Hong Kong—Fukuoka
Hong Kong Airlines ha lanzado su nuevo servicio directo el 07/04 que conecta a Hong Kong/HKG—Fukuoka/FUK para satisfacer la altísima demanda de esta ruta popular y numerosos destinos alrededor de Kyushu, la tercera isla más grande de las cinco islas principales de Japón. La compañía aérea desarrollará cuatro frecuencias semanales (4Frq/S) los Lunes, Miércoles, Viernes y Domingos, el HX640 saldrá de Hong Kong a las 10:25 y llegará a Fukuoka a las 15:00. El vuelo de regreso, HX641 despegará de Fukuoka a las 16:00 y llegará a Hong Kong a las 18:35, operando con aeronaves Airbus A320ceo. Las celebraciones se llevaron a cabo tanto en el Aeropuerto Internacional de Hong Kong como en el Aeropuerto Internacional de Fukuoka, para conmemorar el lanzamiento oficial de esta ruta.

A los pasajeros que volaban en el primer vuelo a Fukuoka (Japón) recibieron deliciosas bolsas de recuerdos para marcar la ocasión y mostrar gratitud por su firme apoyo a la ruta. Al llegar al Aeropuerto de Fukuoka, el vuelo inaugural de Hong Kong Airlines fue recibido por un saludo tradicional de cañones de agua. Representantes del Aeropuerto de Fukuoka, la Prefectura de Fukuoka y de Turismo de Kyushu se dieron cita en el vuelo inaugura, dando la bienvenida a los pasajeros, la tripulación de vuelo y los representantes de Hong Kong Airlines.
El Presidente de Hong Kong Airlines, Jeff Sun, dijo: “Hong Kong Airlines está inmensamente orgulloso de agregar esta nueva ruta a su red de recuperación. Fukuoka sirve como una puerta de entrada importante a Kyushu, y lanzar este servicio allanaría el camino para mejorar nuestras prometedoras operaciones futuras en el área”.
La compañía planea reanudar el servicio a Kagoshima este año para fortalecer aún más su presencia en la región de Kyushu. Con la incorporación de cuatro veces servicio semanal a Fukuoka, Hong Kong Airlines actualmente opera cinco destinos en Japón, incluidos vuelos dos veces al día a Osaka y Tokio (Narita), servicio diario a Okinawa y tres veces vuelos semanales a Sapporo. Además, la compañía comenzará a operar vuelos dos veces al día a Okinawa desde Mayo 2023, y tres veces al día hasta Tokio (Narita) a partir de Junio 2023. La compañía también anunció que reanudaría su servicio cinco veces por semana al Aeropuerto Internacional Ngurah Rai de Bali, Indonesia, y el servicio diario al Aeropuerto Internacional Hongqiao de Shanghai a partir del 17 de Abril de 2023.

Hong Kong Airlines has launched its new direct service on 07/04 that connects Hong Kong/HKG—Fukuoka/FUK to meet the very high demand of this popular route and numerous destinations around Kyushu, the third largest island of the five main islands from Japan. The airline will develop four weekly frequencies (4Frq/S) on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, the HX640 will leave Hong Kong at 10:25 and will arrive in Fukuoka at 03:00 p.m. The return flight, HX641 will take off Fukuoka at 04:00 p.m. and will arrive at Hong Kong at 18:35, operating with Airbus A320ceo aircraft. The celebrations were held both at the Hong Kong International Airport and at Fukuoka International Airport, to commemorate the official launch of this route.

To the passengers flying on the first flight to Fukuoka (Japan) they received delicious bags of memories to mark the occasion and show gratitude for their firm support to the route. Upon arriving at Fukuoka airport, the opening flight of Hong Kong Airlines was received for a traditional greeting of water cannons. Representatives of Fukuoka Airport, Prefecture of Fukuoka and Tourism of Kyushu gathered on the flight opens, welcoming passengers, flight crew and the representatives of Hong Kong Airlines.
Hong Kong Airlines president Jeff Sun said: “Hong Kong Airlines is immensely proud to add this new route to his recovery network. Fukuoka serves as an important door to Kyushu, and launching this service would pave the way to improve our promising future operations in the area”.
The company plans to resume the service to Kagoshima this year to further strengthen its presence in the Kyushu region. With the incorporation of four times weekly service to Fukuoka, Hong Kong Airlines currently operates five destinations in Japan, including flights twice a day to Osaka and Tokyo (Narita), daily service to Okinawa and three times weekly flights to Sapporo. In addition, the company will start operating flights twice a day to Okinawa since May 2023, and three times a day to Tokyo (Narita) from June 2023. The company also announced that it would resume its service five times a week to the Ngurah International Airport RAI de Bali, Indonesia, and the daily service to the Hongqiao International Airport of Shanghai as of April 17, 2023.
