Funcionario afirma aviones rusos están siendo reparados en Irán
La organización de aviación civil de Irán, la Civil Aviation Authority of Islamic Republic of Iran (CAAIRI), dice que la República Islámica y la Federación Rusia han firmado un acuerdo para aceptar las aprobaciones de cada uno en el campo de la reparación y construcción de aviones.
El Jefe del organismo de aviación Mohammad Mohammadi Bakhsh dijo a la agencia de noticias ILNA el Lunes 10/04 que el acuerdo se logró durante su visita de un día a Rusia la semana pasada. Mientras que la mitad de la flota aérea de Irán está en tierra debido a las sanciones, afirmó que los aviones rusos ahora están siendo reparados en Irán. “Afortunadamente, los aviones en tierra de las aerolíneas iraníes también están siendo reparados, y en las últimas semanas, varios de ellos comenzaron a funcionar”, expresó el representante de la CAAIRI.
En cuanto a las piezas de repuesto, Mohammadi Bakhsh alegó que las piezas necesarias son fabricadas y producidas dentro del país por empresas nacionales; pero esto representa un alto riesgo para la seguridad aérea, pues las autopartes no están homologadas por los constructores originales.
La dependencia de países extranjeros en el campo de la industria de aviación ha disminuido en Irán que ha sufrido escasez de aviones civiles desde la década de 1990 y utilizó una variedad de formas para arrendar aviones más antiguos o comprar piezas de repuesto a través de intermediarios, pero el estado técnico de su flota se ha deteriorado.
El Acuerdo Nuclear de 2015 (JCPOA) suspendió las sanciones a las compras de aviones occidentales e Irán comenzó las conversaciones para comprar nuevos aviones de Boeing y Airbus. Se entregaron algunos aviones Airbus, pero la Administración Trump nunca aprobó la venta de aviones estadounidenses hasta que Washington se retiró del JCPOA en Mayo de 2018.

While half of Iran’s air fleet is on the ground due to sanctions, he said that Russian airplanes are now being repaired in Iran. “Fortunately, the land planes of Iranian airlines are also being repaired, and in recent weeks, several of them began to work”, said the representative of the CAAIRI.
As for the spare parts, Mohammadi Bakhsh claimed that the necessary parts are manufactured and produced within the country by national companies; But this represents a high risk for air safety, as auto parts are not approved by the original builders.
The dependence of foreign countries in the field of the aviation industry has decreased in Iran that has suffered a shortage of civil planes since the 1990s and used a variety of ways to lease older planes or buy spare parts through intermediaries, But the technical state of its fleet has deteriorated.
The 2015 nuclear agreement (JCPOA) suspended the sanctions on the purchases of Western airplanes and Iran began the conversations to buy new Boeing and Airbus aircraft. Some Airbus aircraft were delivered, but the Trump administration never approved the sale of US planes until Washington retired from the JCPOA in May 2018.
