Aeropuerto Rosario terminación obras Septiembre 2023
Las obras de ampliación y mejoras del Aeropuerto Internacional Rosario/ROS estará terminado hacia Septiembre 2023. La ampliación del aeropuerto santafesino muestra los primeros puentes donde se colocarán dos mangas cuya misión será agilizar y optimizar el ascenso y descenso de pasajeros. Así, en poco tiempo y por primera vez en su historia tendrá listas las pasarelas de embarque que caracterizan a las grandes terminales del mundo. Se presume que eso ocurrirá entre Agosto y Septiembre de 2023 junto con el resto de los trabajos, según fuentes oficiales.
El Presidente del directorio del Aeropuerto Rosario/Islas Malvinas, Eduardo Romagnoli, se mostró contento con la realización de estos puentes y señaló que “al crecimiento sostenido de la operatividad se suma nuevo equipamiento y el avance de las obras de la terminal flexible de pasajeros”.
En pocos meses, la terminal sumará 4.800 metros cuadrados en el marco de una transformación histórica. El área que pronto comenzará a funcionar conforma la primera de dos etapas, mientras que la segunda no tiene fecha de inicio, y tendrá dos plantas donde se dispondrán las salas de embarque y arribo, sector de entrega de equipajes, y oficinas de organismos y de servicios. La nueva estructura contendrá los dos puentes que vincularán la nueva terminal con el pivot que contiene las pasarelas de embarque. Además, habrá un nuevo núcleo de escaleras y ascensores al noroeste de la terminal actual, para vincular los movimientos de pasajeros entre ese edificio y el nuevo. Eduardo Romagnoli dijo que “la forma de construcción es innovadora; requiere un despliegue significativo de personal y maquinaria, y garantiza agilidad en el montaje y optimización de recursos”.
Por otro lado, se espera para estos días la habilitación del Sistema de Luces de Aproximación Full (ALSF), que permitirá elevar los niveles de operatividad frente a condiciones meteorológicas adversas. La adquisición de este equipamiento requirió un fuerte trabajo, ya que fue la primera vez que la terminal rosarina intervino como importador directo. “Finalizadas las tareas de instalación del ALS, la semana pasada recibimos a inspectores de la Administración Nacional de Aviación Civil (ANAC) y de la Empresa Argentina de Navegación Aérea (EANA), y estamos a la espera de los respectivos informes para la habilitación del mismo”, dijo el Director del Aeropuerto Rosario.
Respecto a los avances de los trabajos de la llamada terminal flexible de pasajeros, avanzan a ritmo sostenido las conexiones eléctricas, cloacales y de desagües, los perfilados y tabiques internos, y el cerramiento vidriado del espacio, entre otros trabajos.

El directivo del aeropuerto expresó la óptima ocupación de vuelos que presentó la terminal en los meses de Diciembre del 2022, y Enero, Febrero y Marzo del 2023. “Si bien es cierto que la actividad aerocomercial a nivel nacional y regional sigue soportando algunos efectos pospandemia, en Rosario venimos trabajando en una recuperación sostenida y los resultados los pudimos observar en este periodo estival. Con doce destinos directos, movilizamos 174.800 pasajeros, es decir un 46% más comparado con el año anterior”, detalló Eduardo Romagnoli.
Aeroparque fue el destino con mayor cantidad de personas transportadas, con un total de 48.178. En tanto, el destino turístico nacional más elegido por Rosario y la región para sus vacaciones fue Bariloche con 23.365 pasajeros transportados. A nivel internacional, Panamá fue el sitio de mayor movimiento de pasajeros, con 33.464 en la temporada. Según datos publicados en el sitio oficial de la ANAC, durante Febrero-Marzo de 2023 el Aeropuerto Rosario fue el quinto aeropuerto más visitado por extranjeros, ubicándose después de Ezeiza, Aeroparque, Córdoba y Mendoza. Lo siguen en el ránking las aerostaciones de Bariloche, Salta, Ushuaia, San Fernando y Río Gallegos. “En Febrero de 2023 arribaron 13.683 pasajeros, mientras que en Marzo fueron 12.105”, detalló Eduardo Romagnoli.

Se trata de una mejora del 46% en relación a la cantidad de viajantes que pasaron por Rosario el verano pasado a doce destinos directos. Esto significó un 46% más que la temporada 2021-2022. Entre los destinos más elegidos desde Rosario se encuentra Aeroparque con 48.178 viajeros. A la hora de hablar de turismo real, Bariloche lideró ese ranking con 23.365 pasajeros. Por razones de frecuencias y conectividad, Panamá fue el destino internacional que más boletos vendió con 33.464 sólo en la temporada.
El 11 de Abril de 2023 se reiniciaron los vuelos regulares a Ezeiza que permitirán conectarse en forma inmediata con las salidas hacia Madrid, Miami y Nueva York. Por otra parte, Aerolíneas Argentinas habilitó nuevamente para la venta el destino San Martín de los Andes para responder a la demanda invernal en Julio, Agosto y Septiembre 2023.
Estas novedades se suman a los destinos de Aeroparque, Salta, Bariloche, Iguazú, Mendoza, Reconquista, San Pablo, Río de Janeiro y Panamá que se ofrecen de manera habitual por las cuatro compañías regulares: Aerolíneas Argentinas, LADE, GOL Linhas Aéreas y Copa Airlines.
