Inauguración nueva terminal Aeropuerto Ezeiza

El Presidente de la República Argentina, Alberto Fernández, ha acompañado la inauguración de la nueva terminal del Aeropuerto Internacional Ezeiza/EZE de Argentina, el Domingo 16/04, junto al Ministro de Transporte, Diego Giuliano, la nueva terminal de partidas del principal aeropuerto argentino.

El año 2023 marca un hito en la historia de Aeropuertos Argentina 2000: con una infraestructura de vanguardia y mirada sustentable, se inauguró en el Aeropuerto Internacional Ezeiza la nueva Terminal de Partidas, enfocada especialmente en darle mayor comodidad y un mejor servicio a los pasajeros.

Encarar este proyecto significó crear más de 2500 puestos de trabajo para construirla. Y concretarla permite incrementar de manera importante la capacidad para recibir hasta 30 millones de pasajeros al año. El diseño arquitectónico incluye una estructura edilicia dentro de otra con la forma de un zeppelin gigante a la altura del primer piso. De allí los pasajeros pueden acceder de una forma ágil y fluida al área de controles de seguridad, migraciones, locales comerciales y al sector de pre-embarque. Un diseño espectacular, con 190 metros de largo dentro de la terminal: contenida por una estructura metálica de 950 toneladas en forma de red, revestida por más de 2100 vidrios laminados templados. Eso permite el contacto con el exterior y el ingreso de luz natural. La nueva terminal de pasajeros se destaca no solamente por su arquitectura, sino también por la tecnología de última generación.

New Ezeiza Airport Terminal inauguration

The president of the Argentine Republic, Alberto Fernández, has accompanied the inauguration of the new Terminal of the Ezeiza International Airport/EZE of Argentina, opened on Sunday 04/16, together with the Minister of Transportation, Diego Giuliano, the new starting terminal of the main Argentine airport.

The year 2023 marks a milestone in the history of Argentine Airports 2000: with an vanguard and sustainable look infrastructure, the new game terminal was inaugurated at the International Airport, especially focused on giving it greater comfort and a better service to passengers.

Facing this project meant creating more than 2500 jobs to build it. And specifying it allows to significantly increase the ability to receive up to 30 million passengers per year. The architectural design includes a building structure within another with the shape of a giant zeppelin at the height of the first floor. From there the passengers can access in an agile and fluid way to the area of security controls, migrations, commercial premises and the pre-labor sector. A spectacular design, 190 meters within the terminal: contained by a metal structure of 950 tons in the form of a network, covered by more than 2100 temperate laminated glass. That allows contact with the outside and the entry of natural light. The new passenger terminal stands out not only for its architecture, but also for the latest technology.

Golpe militar República Sudán al borde de una guerra civil

El Sábado 15/04, Fuerzas de Apoyo Rápido (RSF), el principal grupo paramilitar de Sudán, anunció que se había apoderado del Palacio Presidencial, la residencia del Jefe del Ejército y el Aeropuerto Internacional de Jartum en un intento de golpe de Estado con combates intensos en el centro de la capital Jartum.

Durante el golpe militar en curso, hubo informes de daños en el aeropuerto internacional. FlightRadar24.com había enumerado doce aviones en el aeropuerto, con al menos dos de ellos destruidos. Los combates se extendieron al Aeropuerto Internacional de Jartum (KRT) dañando un Airbus A330-300 operado por Saudi Arabian Airlines y un Boeing 737-800 operado para Sun Air, cuyo propietario es la aerolínea ucraniana SkyUp Airlines. Fuentes de noticias locales informan sobre un tercer avión dañado.

Los doce aviones estacionados en Jartum son en su mayoría Boeing 737 (10), Airbus A330 (1) y Embraer Legacy 600 (1). El Sábado 15/04, Saudia Arabian Airlines confirmó que uno de sus aviones había sido afectado en Jartum. La compañía lanzó el siguiente comunicado: “Saudia aclara que su avión A330, número de vuelo SV458 estuvo involucrado en un accidente en el Aeropuerto Internacional de Jartum antes de despegar a Riad a las 07:30 horas UTC de esta mañana, Sábado 15 de Abril”. La aerolínea saudí confirmó más tarde que el avión estuvo expuesto a daños por disparos mientras se preparaba para su salida programada con invitados y tripulación a bordo. Todos los miembros de la tripulación de cabina de la aeronave han llegado a salvo a la Embajada de Arabia Saudita en Sudán, y la compañía canceló todos los vuelos futuros hacia y desde Sudán. Saudia no informó sobre el estado de los pasajeros a bordo.

Los medios de comunicación sudaneses informaron que uno de los aviones de SkyUp Airlines también había sido dañado. JACDEC News indicó que el avión más probablemente involucrado es UR-SQH. SkyUp Airlines es una aerolínea chárter y aún no ha emitido una declaración pública sobre el tema.

Military coup Sudan Republic on the edge of a civil war

On Saturday 04/15, Fast Support Forces (RSF), the main paramilitary group in Sudan, announced that it had taken over the Presidential Palace, the residence of the head of the Army and the Jartum International Airport in a coup attempt with a putsch with intense fighting in the center of the Jartum capital.

During the ongoing military coup, there were reports of damage to the international airport. FlightRadar24.com had listed twelve airplanes at the airport, with at least two of them destroyed. The fighting extended to Jartum International Airport (KRT) damaging an Airbus A330-300 operated by Saudi Arabian Airlines and a Boeing 737-800 operated for Sun Air, whose owner is the Ukrainian airline SkyUp Airlines. Local news sources report on a third damaged plane.

On Saturday, Saudia Arabian Airlines confirmed that one of his planes had been affected in Jartum. The company launched the following statement: “Saudia clarifies that its A330 plane, flight number SV458 was involved in an accident at the Jartum International Airport before taking Riad at 07:30 hours UTC this morning, Saturday April 15”. The Saudi airline later confirmed that the plane was exposed to shooting damage while preparing for their scheduled exit with guests and crew on board. All members of the aircraft cabin crew have reached the Saudi Arabia embassy in Sudan, and the company canceled all future flights to and from Sudan. Saudia did not report on the state of passengers on board.

Sudanese media reported that one of SkyUp Airlines had also been damaged. Jacdec News indicated that the most probably involved plane is UR-SQH. SkyUp Airlines is a charter airline and has not yet issued a public statement on the subject.
