Spirit toma entrega flota FIT Airbus número 200
Spirit Airlines ha dado la bienvenida a una entrega histórica para la creciente flota Fit de la aerolínea con su entrega número 200 de aviones nuevos de Airbus Group. El Airbus A320neo matrícula N973NK fue ensamblado en la planta de fabricación de Airbus US en Mobile, Alabama (AL) y preparado para el servicio en las instalaciones de mantenimiento de aeronaves de Spirit en Detroit (MI). La nueva entrega es parte del crecimiento continuo en Spirit. La aerolínea introdujo catorce nuevos aviones en 2022, con planes de agregar veintiséis nuevos aviones en 2023. Además, Spirit tiene una primicia importante con la próxima entrega de su primer avión A321neo.
Spirit Airlines hizo la transición a una flota totalmente Airbus en 2006, y actualmente opera una de las flotas más eficientes en combustible de la industria con una edad promedio de aproximadamente siete años. Las inversiones en nuevos aviones de la familia A320neo con aerodinámica mejorada y motores a reacción de última generación están dando sus frutos con reducciones significativas en el consumo de combustible, menos emisiones y menores niveles de ruido.

Las entregas de aviones más recientes de Spirit cuentan con un interior mejorado con asientos más anchos que son más pequeños en peso e incluyen características nuevas y cómodas que continúan mejorando la experiencia del huésped. Los asientos delanteros grandes de la aerolínea son aún más grandes y cuentan con más pre-reclinación, lo que hace que el mejor valor en el cielo sea aún mejor. Spirit takes delivery Fit Airbus number 200
Spirit Airlines has welcomed a historic delivery for the growing FIT fleet of the airline with its delivery number 200 of new Airbus group aircraft. The Airbus A320neo registration N973NK was assembled at the Airbus Us manufacturing plant in Mobile, Alabama (AL) and prepared for service in Spirit aircraft maintenance facilities in Detroit (MI). The new delivery is part of the continuous growth in Spirit. The airline introduced fourteen new aircraft in 2022, with plans to add twenty-six new aircraft in 2023. In addition, Spirit has an important scoop with the next installment of its first A321neo plane.
Spirit Airlines made the transition to a totally Airbus fleet in 2006, and currently operates one of the most efficient fuel fleets in the industry with an average age of approximately seven years. Investments in new A320neo aircraft with improved aerodynamics and state of the art reaction engines are paying off with significant fuel consumption, less emissions and lower noise levels.

Spirit’s most recent aircraft deliveries have an improved interior with wider seats that are smaller in weight and include new and comfortable features that continue to improve the guest experience. The large front seats of the airline are even larger and have more pre-reclining, which makes the best value in the sky even better. Spirit also recently introduced high-speed Wi-Fi in its A320 and A321 sub-flotes.
Recognition
Air Transport World (ATW) of Aviation Week Network appointed Spirit Airlines the value airline of the year as part of the ATW 2023 Airline Industry Achievement Awards Awards. In addition, Wallet hub appointed Spirit the most affordable airline and number two of eleven in general in its best airline awards in 2023.
