Avión temático celebra quinto aniversario vuelos a Hawáii
Southwest Airlines está celebrando cinco años de operaciones interinsulares dentro de Hawái con un nuevo avión temático de Hawái llamado Imua One. La librea debutó esta semana en el Aeropuerto de Long Beach, una de las ocho puertas de entrada continentales desde donde Southwest ofrece servicio sin escalas a Hawai. La librea del avión fue diseñada por Osaki Creative Group, con sede en Oahu, bajo la guía de Herman Piikea Clark, un artista, diseñador e investigador kanaka maoli/indígena hawaiano. El diseño presenta ocho elementos que representan conceptos en la cultura hawaiana, junto con una estrella para cada uno de los cinco aeropuertos de Hawái a los que sirve Southwest: Honolulu, Lihue (Kauai), Kahului (Maui), Kona (Isla de Hawái) e Hilo (Isla de Hawái).
Imua One está dedicado a los empleados de Southwest y las comunidades a las que Southwest ha estado sirviendo desde que aterrizó en la isla hace cinco años. “Cuando dedicamos un avión, no solo es un símbolo de gratitud, sino también de una promesa que hemos hecho. Además de la librea especial, Imua One también debuta como el primer avión Southwest con potencia en el asiento en cada asiento. Es el tercer Boeing 737-8 MAX que Southwest ha lanzado con una librea especial, después de Herbert D. Kelleher, que está dedicado al fundador de Southwest, y la Heroína del Corazón, un homenaje a la Presidenta emérita de Southwest, Colleen C. Barrett.

Thematic plane celebrates fifth anniversary flights to Hawaii
Southwest Airlines is celebrating five years of interinsular operations within Hawaii with a new Hawaii thematic plane called Imua One. The Librea debuted this week at the Long Beach airport, one of the eight continental entrance doors from where Southwest offers non-scales To Hawaii. The library of the plane was designed by Osaki Creative Group, based in Oahu, under the guidance of Herman Piikea Clark, an artist, designer and researcher Kanaka Maoli/Indigenous Hawaiian. The design presents eight elements that represent concepts in the Hawaiian culture, along with a star for each of the five Hawaii airports that Southwest is served: Honolulu, Lihue (Kauai), Kahului (Maui), Kona (Hawaii Island) and thread (Hawaii Island).
Imua One is dedicated to Southwest employees and the communities to whom Southwest has been serving since he landed on the island five years ago. “When we dedicate a plane, it is not only a symbol of gratitude, but also of a promise we have done. In addition to the special free, Imua One also debuts as the first Southwest plane with a power in each seat. It is the third Boeing 737-8 Max that Southwest has launched with a special libase, after Herbert D. Kelleher, who is dedicated to the founder of Southwest, and the heroin of the heart, a tribute to the emeritus of Southwest, Colleen C. Barrett
