Primera ruta sin escalas del oeste de Canadá desde Ottawa
Porter Airlines ha anunciado el 08/05 que está agregando la costa Oeste de Canadá a su creciente lista de rutas sin escalas desde la capital de la nación con un nuevo servicio entre el Aeropuerto Internacional de Ottawa (YOW) y el Aeropuerto Internacional de Vancouver (YVR). La adición de la ruta Ottawa—Vancouver proporciona otra forma de viajar entre la extensa red regional del Este de Canadá y la Columbia Británica.
La nueva ruta comienza el 26 de Julio de 2023, con un vuelo diario de ida y vuelta operado con el avión de última generación Embraer E195-E2.

El servicio programado conectará con Charlottetown, Halifax, Moncton, Nueva York, Toronto-Pearson, Toronto-City y Thunder Bay a través de Ottawa.

La nueva ruta Ottawa/YOW—Vancouver/YVR complementa el servicio existente entre Toronto—Pearson/YYZ y Vancouver/YVR. El horario de verano de este último tiene hasta cinco viajes diarios de ida y vuelta.
Las características del servicio en esta ruta incluyen bocadillos premium de cortesía, cerveza y vino servidos en cristalería, y WiFi rápido y gratuito para todos los pasajeros. También se ofrecen comidas frescas y saludables con todo incluido con las tarifas de PorterReserve o se pueden comprar a la carta para los pasajeros que viajan en PorterClassic.

Porter adds Vancouver
Western Canada’s first non-stop route from Ottawa
Porter Airlines has announced on 05/08 that it is adding the west coast of Canada to its growing list of non-stop routes from the nation’s capital with new service between Ottawa International Airport (YOW) and Vancouver International Airport ( YVR). The addition of the Ottawa—Vancouver route provides another way to travel between the extensive regional network of Eastern Canada and British Columbia.
The new route begins on July 26, 2023, with a daily round-trip flight operated with the latest generation Embraer E195-E2 aircraft.

The scheduled service will connect to Charlottetown, Halifax, Moncton, New York, Toronto-Pearson, Toronto-City and Thunder Bay via Ottawa.

The new Ottawa/YOW—Vancouver/YVR route complements existing service between Toronto—Pearson/YYZ and Vancouver/YVR. The latter’s summer schedule has up to five daily round trips.
Service features on this route include complimentary premium snacks, beer and wine served in glassware, and free fast WiFi for all passengers. Fresh and healthy all-inclusive meals are also offered at PorterReserve fares or can be purchased of letter for passengers traveling on PorterClassic.
