Vuelo sobrepasó final de la pista en Salvador de Bahía
Un Embraer ERJ-195-E2, registro PS-AED de la aerolínea Azul Linhas Aéreas realizando el vuelo AD-4372 despegaba el 9 de Mayo de 2023 desde el Aeropuerto Campinas/Viracopos/VCP en el Estado de São Paulo (SP) hacia el Aeropuerto Salvador de Bahía/SSA (BA) Brasil, aterrizó en la Pista 17 de Salvador a las 01:26L (04:26Z) pero invadió el final de la pista por unos 36 metros y se detuvo en la hierba más allá de la superficie pavimentada. No se reportaron pasajeros, tripulación ni personas fuera de la aeronave heridos ni daños visibles en la aeronave.
El incidente ocurrió en el vuelo AD4372 que partió del Aeropuerto de Viracopos, en Campinas, con destino a la capital de Bahía. El avión Embraer E-195-E2 con matrícula PS-AED invadió el final de la Pista 17 al aterrizar, terminando en terreno blando y anegadizo.
El avión llegó al Aeropuerto de Salvador a tiempo, a la 01:35 am del día 10/05. La aerolínea no dijo por qué el avión no pudo detenerse en la pista. En una nota, el Portavoz del Aeropuerto de Salvador Bahía destacó que el lugar donde se detuvo el avión es un área de seguridad que está diseñada para este propósito, en situaciones donde la aeronave excede los límites de la pista. La Pista 17/35 proporciona una longitud de solo 1518 metros.

No passengers, crew, or people outside the aircraft or visible damage to the aircraft were reported.
The incident occurred on the AD4372 flight that departed from the Viracopos Airport, in Campinas, destined for the capital of Bahía. The E-195-E2 aircraft with PS-A rEDegistration invaded the end of Runway 17 when landing, ending on soft and waterlogging terrain.
The plane arrived at Salvador Airport on time, at 01:35 am on 10/05. The airline did not say why the plane could not stop on the runway. In a note, Salvador Bahía’s spokesman stressed that the place where the plane was stopped is a security area that is designed for this purpose, in situations where the aircraft exceeds the limits of the runway. The Runway 17/35 provides a length of only 1518 meters.
