Ryanair y CFM acuerdan impulsar motorización 737 MAX
Ryanair y CFM International arribaron a un acuerdo para que el motor LEAP 1-B impulse el pedido en firme más reciente de la aerolínea de 150 aviones Boeing 737 MAX. CFM International, una empresa conjunta entre General Electric (GE) Aviation y Safran Aircraft Engines llegaron a un acuerdo con la aerolínea low cost irlandesa para que los motores impulsen el reciente pedido de 150 aviones Boeing 737-10 MAX.
Ryanair y CFM International firmaron una Carta de Acuerdo (LoA) para comprar suficientes motores LEAP 1-B para alimentar 150 aviones Boeing 737-10 MAX el 9 de Mayo de 2023. Según el anuncio de CFM International, el LoA también incluye motores de repuesto y opciones para 150 aviones adicionales y motores respectivos.

El motor LEAP 1-B es la única opción de planta de energía para la familia de aviones Boeing 737 MAX, incluidos el 737 MAX 7, MAX 8, MAX 9 y MAX 10. CFM International también construye el LEAP 1-A y el LEAP 1-AC que impulsan la familia de aviones Airbus A320neo y el COMAC C919 de China.
Ryanair anunció el pedido de 300 aviones Boeing 737-10 MAX, incluidos 150 en firme y 150 opciones, el 9 de mayo de 2023. El acuerdo, valorado en US$ 40.000 millones a precios de lista, verá a la aerolínea recibir el avión entre 2023 y 2027, marcando el mayor pedido de aviones en la historia de Ryanair. Ryanair and CFM International arrived at an agreement for the LEAP 1-B engine to boost the most recent firm order of the 150 Boeing 737 MAX airline. CFM International, a joint company between General Electric (GE) Aviation and Safran Aircraft Engines reached an agreement with the Irish low-cost airline so that the engines promote the recent order of 150 Boeing 737-10 MAX aircraft.
Ryanair and CFM International signed a letter of agreement (LoA) to buy enough LEAP 1-B engines to feed 150 Boeing 737-10 MAX aircraft on May 9, 2023. According to the announcement of CFM International, the LoA also includes replacement engines and options for 150 additional aircraft and respective engines.

We hope to continue supporting the development of the Ryanair fleet by providing them with the best standards in terms of reliability, sustainability, and maintenance”, said Gaël Méheust, president and executive director (CEO) of CFM International.
The LEAP 1-B engine is the only energy plant option for the Boeing 737 Max aircraft, including 737 MAX 7, MAX 8, MAX 9, and MAX 10. CFM International also builds the LEAP 1-A and the LEAP 1-AC that boost the Airbus A320neo aircraft and China C919.
Ryanair announced the request for 300 Boeing 737-10 MAX aircraft, including 150 firm and 150 options, on May 9, 2023. The agreement, valued at US$ 40,000 million at list prices, will see the airline receive the plane between 2023 and 2027, marking the biggest request for airplanes in the history of Ryanair. The order will help the low-cost airline to ensure the airplanes for their future growth and renew its fleet, with Ryanair pointing to transport 225 million passengers per year for the fiscal year 2026.
