Vuelo directo de Azul a Montevideo en 2S2023
Azul Linhas Aéreas ha anunciado un nuevo vuelo regional en Sudamérica que conectará Curitiba/CWB—Montevideo/MVD. La Ciudad de Curitiba, capital del Estado de Paraná (PR), Brasil ganará una nueva ruta internacional a partir del segundo semestre de 2023. Azul Linhas Aéreas anunció el Lunes 15/05 el vuelo que conecta la capital de Paraná con Montevideo, Uruguay. El anuncio fue hecho por el Gobernador Carlos Massa Ratinho Junior y el Gerente de Relaciones Institucionales de Azul, César Grandolfo, durante el Día de Paraná, un evento realizado en Lisboa, Portugal, que reunió a autoridades portuguesas y paranaenses.
El nuevo vuelo Curitiba/CWB—Montevideo/MVD tendrá tres frecuencias semanales, utilizando aviones Embraer E195-E2, con capacidad para transportar hasta 136 personas. Se espera que el inicio de las ventas de pasajes tenga lugar en Junio 2023. La información sobre los días, horas y fecha del vuelo inaugural también será publicada el próximo mes por la aerolínea brasileña.
Ratinho Junior destacó que el Gobierno paranaense es socio de la empresa para ampliar las rutas aéreas de Paraná, lo que ayuda a aumentar el turismo y los negocios en el estado. “Esta ruta es muy importante para la conexión de Curitiba con América del Sur. Estamos transformando el estado en el hub logístico del continente y esto también incluye la expansión de la red aérea de Paraná. Paraná se ha convertido en una importante ruta turística internacional, y además de recibir nuevos vuelos, también se está convirtiendo en un destino para cruceros”, expresó el Gobernador del Estado de Paraná.
Para Azul, el nuevo vuelo representa un gran paso hacia el establecimiento de nuevas conexiones internacionales con Brasil. “Estamos muy contentos con este anuncio, ya que muestra la fuerte relación que estamos construyendo con la región Sur, especialmente con el estado de Paraná. Hacer este anuncio aquí en Lisboa también es un logro, ya que Azul planea conectar cada vez más a Brasil con el resto del mundo. Exponer esta nueva ruta a otros países es parte de un proyecto de expansión estructurado”, dijo César Grandolfo.
Fábio Russo, Director General de CCR Aeroportos, que administra el Aeropuerto Internacional Afonso Peña de Curitiba y otras tres terminales en Paraná, dijo que la nueva conexión es una oportunidad para fortalecer los lazos comerciales, culturales y turísticos entre las capitales de Paraná y Uruguay. “Esperamos dar la bienvenida a los pasajeros a esta nueva ruta y proporcionar una experiencia de viaje memorable. CCR Aeroportos continuará trabajando para elevar el nivel de seguridad y comodidad en el Aeropuerto Internacional de Curitiba, conectando personas y lugares de manera eficiente y confiable”, dijo el director aeroportuario.
El Estado de Paraná está en el radar de las aerolíneas y ha recibido una serie de nuevas rutas en los últimos meses. A fines del año pasado 2022 inició el vuelo directo entre Foz do Iguaçú y Santiago de Chile, operado por JetSMART Airlines Chile. También se reanudaron los vuelos directos de GOL Linhas Aéreas entre Maringá y el aeropuerto de Congonhas. La compañía Azul Linhas Aéreas también reanudó en Abril 2023 los vuelos entre Curitiba y São Paulo/Congonhas/CGH y otra conexión con la capital uruguaya, con un vuelo directo entre Foz do Iguaçú y Montevideo que opera dos veces por semana (2Frq/S).
Día de Paraná
El Día de Paraná reunió el Lunes 15/05, en Lisboa, República de Portugal, a empresarios portugueses, representantes de startups, alcaldes y líderes políticos. El evento fue organizado por Paraná-Lisbon Business Connection, la Cámara Portuguesa de Comercio e Industria e Invest Paraná, la agencia de prospección de inversiones del Gobierno del Estado. El evento es parte de una misión internacional liderada por Ratinho Junior, quien también visitó los Estados Unidos. El objetivo es atraer nuevas inversiones a Paraná y presentar a los inversores extranjeros el potencial del Estado, incluidos importantes proyectos logísticos, como el paquete de concesiones viales y Nova Ferroeste.
