Aerolíneas Argentinas analiza aterrizar en Concordia
El Vicepresidente de Aerolíneas Argentinas, Gustavo Lipovich, afirmó que planifican desembarcar hacia el futuro con vuelos a Concordia, Provincia de Entre Ríos, Argentina. Según el ejecutivo que ha visitado recientemente las obras del nuevo Aeropuerto Comodoro Pierrestegui/COC afirmó que la compañía estatal podría llegar en un futuro próximo.
El Aeropuerto Concordia se encuentra cerrado a las operaciones aéreas desde Junio de 2022 por obras que abarcan la construcción de una nueva pista de 2.000 metros y una plataforma de 10.000 metros cuadrados. Además de una nueva terminal de pasajeros de 1.650 metros cuadrados, torre de control, edificio para el Servicio de Salvamento y Extinción de Incendios y planta de combustible.
Los gobiernos local y provincial buscan convertirlo en un polo de atracción que también sirva a la vecina ciudad de Salto, en Uruguay, para contribuir no solo a la competitividad del turismo de la región sino también a los sectores productivos. Entre Concordia y Salto forman un conglomerado urbano de más de 320.000 habitantes, pero el área de influencia también llega a ciudades como Federación y Villaguay.
El Vicepresidente de Aerolíneas Argentinas, Gustavo Lipovich, visitó recientemente las obras del nuevo aeropuerto Comodoro Pierrestegui: “Recién llegamos y se ve un movimiento impresionante no solo en la pista sino también acá, en lo que va a ser la futura terminal. El área de intervención es muy, muy grande e similar a la de cualquiera de los aeropuertos grandes, donde Aerolíneas Argentinas suele operar, así que nos trae mucha alegría porque vislumbramos quizás en un futuro próximo, poder estar trayendo nuestros servicios a este lugar, a esta ciudad”, comentó el ejcutivo.
El directivo también destacó que la infraestructura “es totalmente adecuada al tipo de operación que nosotros podemos dar por lo que creemos que nuestros pasajeros, ciudadanos o visitantes van a encontrarse con un lugar muy cómodo para el servicio que se les va a dar”.
Por su parte, Marcelo Richard, Ministro de Planeamiento, Infraestructura y Obras de la provincia de Entre Ríos, dijo que “recibir al vicepresidente de nuestra línea de bandera es tan importante para nosotros porque nos permite seguir adelante con esta obra y pensar en el futuro del aeropuerto. Lo que nos señalaba Lipovich nos interesa en cuanto a poder tener la visión de una aerolínea que va a trabajar en el aeropuerto y refiere a algunos aspectos que vamos a tener en cuenta para el futuro“. Vale recordar que las obras del aeropuerto concluirían entre fines de 2023 o la primera mitad de 2024.
La infraestructura previa del Aeropuerto Concordia consistía de una pista de 1.600 metros por 30 metros, una plataforma de 2.600 metros cuadrados y una terminal de 257 metros cuadrados. El Aeropuerto Concordia no recibe vuelos regulares de pasajeros desde Enero de 2014, cuando cayó el acuerdo entre el Gobierno de Entre Ríos y Macair, que operaba vuelos entre esa ciudad y Buenos Aires en nombre de LAER Líneas Aéreas.
