La aerolínea Air Algérie ha firmado un pedido con The Boeing Company por ocho Boeing 737-9 MAX (8) con entregas a partir de 2027. GOL Linhas Aéreas ha anunciado que sumará nuevas frecuencias en los próximos meses desde Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Rosario y Mendoza, informó la compañía. Aerolíneas Argentinas transportaría 14 millones de pasajeros en 2023
La compañía aérea Aerolíneas Argentinas ha informado que proyecta transportar para 2023 unos 14 millones de pasajeros buscando superar el récord de 2019, previo a la pandemia. La aerolínea de Argentina se encuentra en un proceso de expansión de rutas domésticas para aumentar el número de frecuencias y nuevos destinos. “Esperamos superar el récord de pasajeros de 2019. Queremos trasladar a más de 14 millones de pasajeros este año. La verdad es que fue un proceso de menor a mayor. La flota de la compañía estuvo completamente parada. Los aviones no son máquinas como los autos para encender y cambiarles batería. Comenzamos a volar paulatinamente porque también debíamos esperar a que la gente se anime a volar y estamos muy satisfechos con el proceso que atravesamos”, aseguró Carlos Figueroa, Director de Relaciones Institucionales de Aerolíneas Argentinas durante el evento Economías Regionales organizado por El Cronista y la revista Apertura.
Actualmente, Aerolíneas recuperó los niveles de tráfico doméstico previos a la pandemia. “No sucede lo mismo con el tráfico internacional, que está alrededor de un 70% a los números pre-Covid-19. Tenemos una expectativa muy grande durante este año, que es superar los 13 millones de pasajeros, que es la meta histórica de la compañía. De este número, deberían ser 11 millones pasajeros de cabotaje”, dijo el ejecutivo de Aerolíneas.

Aerolíneas Argentinas se encuentra potenciando su segundo centro de operaciones en Córdoba para conectar más pasajeros en rutas desde el interior hacia el interior y regionales en Sudamérica. Opera en 39 destinos en la Argentina con 48 rutas que no pasan por Buenos Aires.
Respecto a la situación financiera Aerolíneas “viene mejorando notablemente su ecuación económico-financiera con una reducción del déficit muy importante. Hace algunas semanas se terminó de cerrar el balance de 2022, aprobado por KPMG y la Auditoría General de Nación y dio el mejor resultado desde que la compañía fue estatizada. La compañía requiere menos fondos públicos para funcionar. Lo que el Estado recauda es mucho mayor de lo que el Estado invierte.
