AerCap completa entrega Airbus A321neo de Air India

Air India recibe su cuarto Airbus A321neo de su arrendador AerCap Holdings. La compañía aérea ha anunciado la finalización de la entrega de los cuatro A321neos que se esperaba en Air India. Un proceso que comenzó el pasado mes de Marzo 2023. El último ejemplar con registro VT-RTE ha sido entregado a Air India el Viernes 19/05.

Air India ha incorporado su cuarto y último A321 Neo de AerCap Holdings. El avión registrado despegó de Hamburgo, Alemania, hacia el Aeropuerto Internacional Indira Gandhi, Nueva Delhi. Air India dijo en su cuenta en Twitter: “¡Estamos encantados de presentar a nuestro miembro más nuevo, el 4º A321neo (VT-RTE), a nuestra familia! La emoción llena el aire mientras el vuelo se prepara para despegar de Hamburgo”.

“Es un momento muy emocionante para Air India, ya que regresa a la propiedad de Tata Group y hace la transición de su flota para satisfacer el rápido crecimiento del mercado de la aviación india. La flota A321neo de Air India están propulsadas por motores CFM International LEAP-1A. Air India dio la bienvenida al primer avión matriculado VT-RTD, el segundo VT-RTC en la última semana de Marzo 2023, mientras que el tercero VT-RTB llegó el 29 de Abril de 2023. En el segmento de pasillo único, Air India opera catorce A321-200 (14), veintisiete A320neo (27), nueve A320-200 (9) y veinte A319 (20). Air India también ha incorporado un Boeing 777-200 LR que pronto estará operativo. En un tweet, Air India dijo: “Damos la bienvenida a una estrella en este día lluvioso: VT-AEE (B777-200 LR). Pronto estará listo para unirse a nuestra creciente red internacional”.

Mega-orden 470 aviones
En Febrero 2023, el grupo firmó una carta de intención con Airbus Group para 250 aviones de la Familia A320neo que incluyen A320neo (140), A321neo (70) y A350-900 (6), A350-1000 (34) de fuselaje ancho, entre otras aeronaves. Mientras que los pedidos solicitados a The Boeing Company se embolsó un acuerdo de aviones valorado en US$ 34.000 millones, incluyendo órdenes por Boeing 737 MAX (190), Boeing 787 (20) y Boeing 777X (10).

Aercap complete delivery Airbus A321neo from Air India

Air India receives its fourth Airbus A321neo from its lessor Aercap Holdings. The airline has announced the completion of the delivery of the four A321neos expected in Air India.
