Boeing reanuda entregas de 737 MAX reacondicionados
The Boeing Company ha comenzado a entregar aviones Boeing 737 MAX que habían sido retenidos para resolver un problema de fabricación, aunque el fabricante de aviones enfrenta presión en el extremo superior de su guía de flujo de efectivo para los siguientes años, dijo el Jueves 25/05 el Director Financiero de la compañía, Brian West.
Se espera que la reanudación de las entregas del 737 MAX, que había sido puestos a reacondicionamiento en Seattle (WA) a principios de Mayo 2023, ayude a Boeing a alcanzar su objetivo de 400-450 aviones comerciales este año. “Todavía esperamos que la primera mitad del año sea de aproximadamente 30 por mes y la mitad posterior de aproximadamente 40 por mes”, dijo Brian West sobre el objetivo de entrega en una conferencia organizada por Wolfe Research.
Boeing suspendió este año las entregas de algunos 737 MAX después de ser notificado por Spirit AeroSystems, que suministra los fuselajes de aviones narrowbodies, por un defecto de fabricación. Brian West dijo que la compañía espera aumentar la producción del 737 MAX más vendido de unas fracción de 31 al mes actualmente a 38 mensuales para hacia finales de 2023. “No sé exactamente cuándo, pero eso está en nuestro plan de juego”.

Brian West said the company expects to increase the production of the best-selling 737 MAX from a fraction of 31 a month currently to 38 per month by the end of 2023. “I don’t know exactly when, but that is in our game plan”.
Brian West also said that the upper end of the US$ 3 billion Boeing guide to US$ 5,000 million in free cash flow for the year was a bit pressured due to the continuous restrictions of the supply chain in his defense business, but said the company maintains that forecast.
