Primer vuelo internacional al Valle del Conlara
Este Jueves 25 de Mayo de 2023 desembarcó en el Aeropuerto Valle del Conlara/RLO, Provincia de San Luis, Argentina, el primer vuelo de SKY Airline de Chile a las 16:20 hs. El vuelo proveniente de Santiago de Chile fue gestionado por el Gobierno provincial de San Luis, junto a la compañía aérea. El nuevo vuelo marca la apertura internacional del Aeropuerto de Valle del Conlara permitiendo enlazar la ruta Santiago de Chile/SCL—Valle del Conlara/RLO en un hito histórico para la provincia puntana.
La aerolínea chilena SKY Airlines ha empleado los Airbus A320neo para realizar las operaciones no regulares. La aeronave está configurada con 168 pasajeros en clase única Economy.
Más vuelos a la Región Puntana
El Secretario de Transporte de la Provincia de San Luis, Sebastián Anzulovich, expresó que después de concretarse el primer vuelo internacional entre el Aeropuerto Santiago de Chile y Valle del Conlara, la Secretaría de Transporte de la Provincia trabaja en las fechas de vuelos para Junio y Julio 2023 entre ambos países. Indicó las fechas probables para incorporar más vuelos entre las fechas del 23 y 26/06, como así también entre el 13, 16, 21 y 24 de Julio de 2023.
Los vuelos no regulares, contratados por la empresa SKY Airline representan un incentivo y un progreso para la región del Cuyo en Argentina. “El trabajo en conjunto entre todas las dependencias que actuaron en la parte operativa del aeropuerto. Esta situación puso a prueba todos los agentes que trabajan en el lugar y a las distintas áreas como, la Policía de San Luis, Bomberos, Aeronáutica, Migraciones, Gendarmería, Senasa, Policía Federal, trabajando todos en conjunto para que el vuelo llegara y saliera bien. Por eso es importante el trabajo que realizamos en conjunto con la Secretaría de Turismo”, dijo Sebastián Anzulovich. El funcionario indicó que, al contar con un turismo internacional, los cabañeros, hoteleros o quienes estén vinculados a este sector, “van a tener que adaptar sus servicios a los requerimientos y estándares de consumo que solicitan este tipo de viajeros, que tiene un poder adquisitivo mayor. Afortunadamente, contamos con prestadores de excelente calidad que ofrecen muy buenos servicios”. Además, dijo que se van a tener que abrir nuevos servicios para este tipo de turistas, como por ejemplo, casas de cambio, alquileres de autos, servicio de transfer de San Luis y Villa Mercedes hacia el Aeropuerto Valle del Conlara, entre otros. “Esto generará nuevos espacios de desarrollo, nuevas oportunidades de negocios vinculados al turismo que viene. Hemos generado un puente aéreo turístico, para vincular dos ciudades sin tener que pasar por Aeroparque u otra terminal aérea. Es una gran puerta de entrada y salida para nuestra provincia al mundo”.

First international flight to the Conlara Valley
This Thursday, May 25, 2023, landed at the Valle del Conlara/RLO airport, San Luis province, Argentina, on the first flight of Sky Airline from Chile at 16:20 hs. The flight from Santiago de Chile was managed by the Provincial Government of San Luis, next to the airline. The new flight marks the international opening of the Conlara Valley Airport allowing the Santiago de Chile/SCL—Valle of Conlara/Rlo route in a historic milestone for the Puntana province.
Chilean airline Sky Airlines has used the Airbus A320neo to perform non-regular operations. The aircraft is configured with 168 passengers in a unique Economy.
More flights to the Puntana region
The Secretary of Transportation of the Province of San Luis, Sebastián Anzulovich, said that after the first international flight between Santiago de Chile and Valle del Conlara airport, the Ministry of Transportation of the Province working on the flight dates for June and July 2023 between both countries. He indicated the probable dates to incorporate more flights between the dates of 23 and 26/06, as well as between July 13, 21, and 24, 2023.

Fortunately, we have excellent quality providers that offer very good services”. In addition, he said that new services will have to open for this type of tourist, such as exchange houses, car rentals, San Luis and Villa Mercedes Transfer Service to Valle del Conlara airport, among others. “This will generate new development spaces and new business opportunities linked to tourism that comes. We have generated a tourist air bridge, to link two cities without having to go through Aeroparque or other air terminals. It is a great entrance and exit door to our province to the world”.
