La aerolínea LATAM Airlines Colombia ha anunciado el lanzamiento de una nueva ruta Bogotá/BAG—Orlando/MCO hacia Estados Unidos. Los usuarios del transporte aéreo colombiano poseerán una nueva opción para viajar al Estado de Florida.

La salida del mercado de las aerolíneas de Viva Air y Ultra Air generó un nuevo contexto para el mercado aéreo colombiano, en el que las grandes aerolíneas como Avianca y LATAM tienen un papel protagónico. Esta última, está trabajando con fuerza en el desarrollo y ampliación de su capacidad operativa. Santiago Álvarez, Director Ejecutivo de la línea aérea colombiana explicó que la compañía ha invertido US$ 300 millones para optimizar la operación nacional.

“Hemos planteado el desarrollo de inversiones para mejorar nuestra posición competitiva en el mercado y seguir ofreciendo a los pasajeros una opción para sus viajes dentro, desde y hacia el país. En los últimos dos meses hicimos una inversión de alrededor de US$ 300 millones, que se dividió en dos partes: la primera, consistió en traer cinco aviones adicionales para suplir parte de la oferta que se estaba perdiendo por el cese de Viva y Ultra; la segunda parte, fue un aumento de capital desde LATAM Group hacia LATAM Colombia, para mejorar la posición financiera de la filial colombiana”, expresó el Directo Ejecutivo.

Posicionamiento en Colombia
La aerolínea se encuentra desarrollando operaciones adicionales en Colombia, con una disponibilidad de 210.000 asientos mensuales. Además, una ruta nueva entre Bogotá y Riohacha ha sido implementada. La compañía continúa reforzando la experiencia de atención al cliente mediante la construcción de una plataforma digital.

La aerolínea colombiana sigue fortaleciendo su posición en Colombia, un mercado con cambios abruptos de competidores, mientras que continúa incrementado el número de pasajeros transportados. En referencia al aspecto económico-financiero, el CEO de LATAM Colombia explica: “Lo más importante es que la situación financiera de las aerolíneas sea robusta y que les permita operar en situaciones de incertidumbre, inflación y un dólar alto”.

“Completamos un total de 30 rutas operativas dentro del negocio doméstico en Colombia, con las cuales conectamos 18 ciudades del territorio nacional. De igual manera, estamos construyendo una conectividad bastante interesante hacia los Estados Unidos, de la mano de nuestra compañía aliada, Delta, con la cual estamos planeando el lanzamiento de la nueva ruta Bogotá—Orlando, que será realidad a partir del 1 de Julio”, dijo Santiago Álvarez.

Al cierre de 2022, movilizamos 8,4 millones de pasajeros en el negocio doméstico y cerca de 1 millón de pasajeros en el negocio internacional que toca a Colombia. Nos consolidamos como la segunda aerolínea del país, con alrededor de 25% del mercado doméstico el año pasado. Con el cierre de las dos aerolíneas low cost, en el primer trimestre de este año estamos ampliando esta participación al 32%.

Perspectivas LATAM Colombia
El desafío próximo es atender el importante cargo impositivo del IVA entre 5 a 19%, lo cual tuvo un impacto bastante grande para el bolsillo del consumidor. Además, la compañía LATAM Airlines busca consolidarse como la aerolínea más sostenible del país, por lo que viene trabajando en una ambiciosa estrategia que incluye acciones para la economía circular, el valor compartido y el cambio climático. Entre sus propósitos, está eliminar los plásticos de un solo uso en 2023, enviar cero residuos a rellenos sanitarios a 2027 y reducir o compensar 50% de las emisiones que se generan con los vuelos domésticos a 2030. El objetivo del Grupo LATAM es obtener la certificación de carbono neutro para 2050.

Reapertura Aeropuerto Resistencia

Aeropuerto de Chaco establece operaciones aerocomerciales

El Aeropuerto Resistencia (RES) ha anunciado que ha restablecido sus operaciones aerocomerciales desde las cero horas del Martes 30 de Mayo de 2023. La estación aérea reinició su operatividad, tras estar cerrada desde el 15/03 por obras de refacción y modernización que permitirán mejorar la seguridad operativa. Desde el Instituto de Turismo de la provincia informaron que los vuelos desde y hacia Buenos Aires y Córdoba volverán a operar de inmediato y que se reactivará la frecuencia Resistencia-Salta.

La ejecución de obras de refuncionalización y fortalecimiento de la seguridad aérea ha incurrido en el cierre de la aeroestación que ha demandado más de treinta días. Desde el Instituto de Turismo de la Provincia de Chaco informaron que los vuelos habituales desde y hacia Buenos Aires y Córdoba retomarán a la capital chaqueña, en tanto que se reactivarán las frecuencias Resistencia/RES—Salta/SLA.

Con las obras ejecutadas por el Ministerio de Transporte, a través del Organismo Regulador del Sistema Nacional de Aeropuertos (ORSNA) en conjunto con Aeropuertos Argentina 2000, el aeropuerto de Resistencia contará con una renovada calle de rodaje, y un nuevo sistema de señalización e iluminación. Los trabajos se ejecutaron con una inversión superior a los 2600 millones de pesos. En una recorrida por el aeropuerto, el Vicepresidente del Instituto de Turismo de Chaco, Mauro Flores explicó que a partir de este martes 30, pasajeras y pasajeros “podrán volar con muchísima más y mejor seguridad en materia aerocomercial”. Asimismo, confirmó que todos los vuelos regulares que fueron trasladados a Corrientes volverán a ejecutarse desde la estación aeroportuaria de Resistencia. Mauro Flores también detalló que en el transcurso de este año se ejecutará una nueva etapa de obras en el aeropuerto, que incluirán la refuncionalización de espacios para brindar mayores y mejores servicios. “Tendremos mejoras sustanciales que a tiempo, podrían comenzar a ejecutarse en agosto de este año”, adelantó el Vicepresidente del Instituto de Turismo de Chaco.

El Aeropuerto de Resistencia, ubicado al sudoeste de la capital chaqueña, sirve a toda el área urbana de Resistencia y localidades vecinas y que regularmente tiene una operación promedio de 18.000 pasajeros mensuales y que, en lo que va de este 2023, ya pasaron 37.040 usuarias y usuarios.

Obras en RES
Los trabajos implican la reconstrucción del rodaje Alfa y su intersección con la plataforma comercial y la pista; y se instalarán nuevas luces de borde y nuevos letreros de señalización vertical. Con estos trabajos se restituye la capacidad estructural de modo tal de poder dar respuesta a las proyecciones de tráfico y cargas previstas para el aeropuerto. Las mejoras se suman a otras ya inauguradas por el Gobierno nacional y provincial, que abarcaron la renovación del sistema ILS y un nuevo sistema de Conmutación de Voz de la torre de control del aeropuerto y del Centro de Control de Área de Resistencia, fortaleciendo la seguridad de las operaciones aéreas. En cuanto a los detalles de los trabajos, se ejecutaron 6800 m² de fresado, 4900 m³ de excavación, 4300 m³ de nuevas bases granulares cementadas, 3400 m³ de reciclado de pavimentos, 10.200 toneladas de mezclas asfálticas, 5300 m³ de hormigones, 65000 m² de mejoramiento de caminos. También se ejecutaron 2100 m² de nuevo señalamiento diurno, 2500 metros de canalizaciones para sistemas de balizamiento, 5500 metros de cableado primario, 1500 metros de cableado secundario, 50 balizas con tecnología LED de última generación y se instalaron 8 letreros de señalización vertical LED.

Reopening Resistencia Airport

Chaco airport establishes commercial operations

Regarding the details of the works, 6,800 m² of milling, 4,900 m³ of excavation, 4,300 m³ of new cemented granular bases, 3,400 m³ of pavement recycling, 10,200 tons of asphalt mixtures, 5,300 m³ of concrete, 65,000 m² of road improvement. 2,100 m² of new daytime signaling, 2,500 meters of conduits for beaconing systems, 5,500 meters of primary wiring, 1,500 meters of secondary wiring, 50 beacons with state-of-the-art LED technology, and 8 LED vertical signaling signs were also installed.

KLM reanuda vuelos diarios entre AMS—Río de Janeiro en 09/2023

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines ha anunciado que reanudará los vuelos diarios en la ruta Amsterdam/AMS—Río de Janeiro/GIG en Septiembre de 2023. La aerolínea holandesa que la operación se extenderá operación en principio hasta Marzo de 2024 como parte de la temporada alta en Brasil.

La aerolínea posee actualmente seis frecuencias entre las ciudades excepto los miércoles, con aviones Boeing 777-200 (ER) y Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. KLM reanuda su vuelo diario entre Amsterdam y Río de Janeiro a partir del 13 de Septiembre de 2023, lo que lleva a una frecuencia diaria (1Frq/D) conectando con la Cidade Maravilhosa.

Los vuelos KL705 siempre salen de Amsterdam a las 12:50 p.m. y aterrizan en Río de Janeiro a las 19:45 p.m. (hora local). Los vuelos de regreso KL706 salen del Rio/Galeão a las 21:55 p.m. y llegan a los Países Bajos a las 14:25 p.m. [+1] del día siguiente (hora local).

KLM daily Amsterdam-Río Janeiro

KLM resumes daily flights between AMS—Río de Janeiro on 09/2023

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has announced that daily flights will resume on the Amsterdam/AMS—Río de Janeiro/GIG route in September 2023. The Dutch airline that the operation will extend operation in principle until March 2024 as part of the high season in Brazil.
