Auditoría de agencia para determinar categoría a México

La Administración Federal de Aviación (FAA) de Estados Unidos ha comunicado el Sábado 3 de Junio de 2023 la auditoría para que México recupere la Categoría 1 (CAT 1) en seguridad aeronáutica, por lo que en unas semanas más las autoridades estadunidenses emitirán la resolución, informó la Secretaría de Infraestructura, Comunicaciones y Transportes (SICT). La agencia aeronáutica federal estadounidense aclararon que México aún no ha recuperado la Categoría 1 que perdió el 25 de Mayo de 2021 debido al rediseño del espacio aéreo.

Más tarde, la SICT indicó en un comunicado que la Auditoría de Evaluación de Seguridad en Aviación Internacional (IASA) concluyó el Viernes 02/06 con la presencia de siete inspectores de la FAA. Destacó que este proceso tiene el objetivo de que el país sea recategorizado. Corresponderá ahora a la FAA emitir de manera oficial en las siguientes semanas un informe final de los resultados de esa auditoría, por lo que las autoridades mexicanas quedan a la espera del citado informe, destacó la SICT. La dependencia explicó que la visita de las autoridades estadunidenses se realizó durante esta semana en la Agencia Federal de Aviación Civil (AFAC), donde funcionarios mexicanos respondieron 316 preguntas de los expertos, relacionadas con seguridad aérea, aeronavegabilidad, legislación, procedimientos y recursos humanos y financieros, principalmente.

El pasado mes de Mayo 2023 se cumplieron dos años de que México sufrió la degradación a Categoría 2, lo cual limitado que líneas aéreas mexicanas abran nuevas rutas hacia Estados Unidos. Lo anterior implicó que el Aeropuerto Internacional Felipe Ángeles (AIFA) aún no tenga vuelos con algún destino al país del norte, pues ha sido cuestionada la seguridad aérea debido a la cercanía que tiene con el Aeropuerto Internacional de la Ciudad de México y el Aeropuerto Internacional de Toluca.

La SICT previó desde Diciembre 2022 que México recupere la Categoría 1 antes del verano septentrional, pues es la temporada alta para los vacacionistas. Las autoridades de ambos países han dicho que recategorizar a México es una prioridad, pues garantiza la seguridad aérea de 30 millones de pasajeros.

Agency audit to determine the category to Mexico

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) of the United States has communicated on Saturday, June 3, 2023, the audit for Mexico to recover Category 1 (CAT 1) in aviation safety so that in a few more weeks the US authorities will issue the resolution, informed the Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications and Transport (SICT). The US federal aeronautical agency clarified that Mexico has not yet recovered Category 1 which it lost on May 25, 2021, due to the redesign of airspace.

Later, the SICT indicated in a statement that the International Aviation Security Assessment Audit (IASA) concluded on Friday 06/02 with the presence of seven FAA inspectors. He stressed that this process has the objective of recategorizing the country. It will now be up to the FAA to officially issue a final report on the results of that audit in the following weeks, so the Mexican authorities are waiting for the aforementioned report, the SICT highlighted. The agency explained that the visit by the US authorities took place this week at the Federal Civil Aviation Agency (AFAC), where Mexican officials answered 316 questions from the experts, related to air safety, airworthiness, legislation, procedures, and human resources and mainly financial.

Last May 2023 marked two years since Mexico suffered a downgrading to Category 2, which limited Mexican airlines from opening new routes to the United States. The above implied that the Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA) still does not have flights to any destination in the northern country, since air safety has been questioned due to its proximity to the International Airport of Mexico City and the International Airport from Toluca.

The SICT provided since December 2022 that Mexico recover Category 1 before the northern summer since it is the high season for vacationers. The authorities of both countries have said that recategorizing Mexico is a priority since it guarantees the air safety of 30 million passengers.

Coloquio de Política Aeronáutica Nacional Argentina

El Centro de Instrucción de Aeronáutica Civil (CIAC-UNTREF) organiza el coloquio Política Aeronáutica Nacional Argentina: “Bases del presente para los desafíos del mañana”, con la participación de destacados actores del espacio aeronáutico local para promover el intercambio de conocimientos y experiencias en diferentes áreas relacionadas con la aviación civil. La actividad tendrá lugar el Martes 7 de Junio, de 09:00 a 15:30 horas, en la Sede Rectorado. El cupo es limitado y quienes estén interesados deben inscribirse, gratuitamente, en ciac@untref.edu.ar.

El coloquio comenzará con las palabras de la Lic. Paola Tamburelli, Administradora Nacional de Aviación Civil (ANAC). Ella analizará los desafíos que enfrenta la aviación en términos de infraestructura, sistemas y normativas en el contexto pospandémico, en una mesa con la moderación del Dr. Pablo Jacoviks, Secretario de Investigación y Desarrollo de la UNTREF. El Ing. Esteban Maddonni, Director Nacional de Investigación de Sucesos Aeronáuticos de la Junta de Seguridad en el Transporte de la Nación (JST), moderado por el Dr. Lisandro López Piñeyro (Director del Centro de Capacitación de la JST), disertará sobre seguridad operacional en el transporte aéreo. Por su parte, Gabriela Logatto de la Empresa Argentina de Navegación Aérea (EANA) expondrá sobre planificación, dirección, coordinación y administración del tránsito aéreo, servicios de telecomunicaciones e información aeronáutica de las instalaciones, infraestructuras y redes de comunicaciones del sistema de navegación aérea.

La Asociación de Transporte Aéreo Internacional (IATA) y el Consejo Internacional de Aeropuertos (ACI) abordarán la problemática de la infraestructura, los servicios y la logística aeroportuaria, en mesa que contará con la participación del Ing. Pablo Manuel Fernández Fayolle, Presidente de Intercargo, y de la Dra. Pilar Becerra, primera Vocal del Directorio, Organismo Regulador del Sistema Nacional de Aeropuertos (ORSNA). Serán moderados por el Dr. Gustavo Lipovich, vicepresidente de Aerolíneas Argentinas. El Comandante Pablo Biro, Secretario General Asociación Pilotos Líneas Aéreas, (APLA), moderado por el Lic. Pablo Salort, coordinador del Centro de Instrucción de Aviación Civil (CIAC–UNTREF), hablará sobre la formación profesional de pilotos civiles y la necesidad de una carrera de grado en aviación civil. Las palabras de cierre estarán a cargo del rector Martín Kaufmann.

Argentinian National Aviation Policy Colloquium

The Civil Aeronautics Instruction Center (CIAC-UNTREF) organizes the Argentine National Aeronautical Policy colloquium: “Bases of the present for the challenges of tomorrow”, with the participation of prominent actors from the local aeronautical space to promote the exchange of knowledge and experiences in different areas related to civil aviation. The activity will take place on Tuesday, June 7, from 9:00 a.m. to 03:30 p.m., at the Rector’s Office. Space is limited and those who are interested must register, free of charge, at ciac@untref.edu.ar.

The colloquium will begin with the words of Lic. Paola Tamburelli, National Civil Aviation Administrator (ANAC). She will analyze the challenges facing aviation in terms of infrastructure, systems, and regulations in the post-pandemic context, at a round table moderated by Dr. Pablo Jacoviks, UNTREF Secretary for Research and Development. Eng. Esteban Maddonni, National Director of Investigation of Aeronautical Events of the National Transportation Safety Board (JST), moderated by Dr. Lisandro López Piñeyro (Director of the JST Training Center), will speak on safety operations in air transport. JetSMART supera el millón de pasajeros en el Perú

JetSMART Airlines Perú ha alcanzado la cifra de millón de pasajeros en las rutas domésticas de la República de Perú tras once meses de operaciones, antes del plazo anual establecido inicialmente. La filial peruana de JetSMART Group iniciaba operaciones el 14 de Junio 2022, incorporando de más destinos y tramos domésticos. “En menos de un año de operación doméstica en el Perú, tras iniciar vuelos en junio del 2022, estamos más que satisfechos por los resultados alcanzados, sobre todo por la respuesta y confianza de los peruano”, expresa Francesca Luna, Gerente General de JetSMART en Perú.

Para alcanzar los objetivos la low-cost lanzó una agresiva campaña comercial estimulada por los precios de los pasajes aéreos y una eficiente distribución de las rutas con cuatro Airbus A320neo. “En este periodo alrededor del 10% son pasajeros que han volado por primera vez, por lo que son más de 100.000 pasajeros quienes han podido acceder a un ticket aéreo por primera vez en vez de utilizar el transporte terrestre y gastar tiempos prolongados para viajar entre una ciudad y otra”, detalla Franchesca Luna. JetSMART Perú ha mostrado capacidad de desarrollo abriendo nuevas ofertas de pasajes y destinos.

El mercado doméstico de Perú ha reportado un gran crecimiento en virtud a los explotadores aéreos, principalmente estimulados por las aerolíneas de presupuesto JetSMART que ha garantizado la conectividad eficiente entre ciudades.

JetSMART Airlines Perú proyecta duplicar la cantidad de pasajeros alcanzada en perspectivas a una estabilización política del país, con el objetivo al término de 2023 con dos millones de pasajeros transportados desde el inicio de operaciones. Para alcanzar los objetivos, la matriz JetSMART Airlines Group transferirá más aeronaves A320neo en los próximos meses desde Chile a medida que lleguen nuevos equipos a la flota.

La flota de JetSMART Perú está conformada por cuatro aviones Airbus A320neo (4), mientras que actualmente se encuentran operativas tres aeronaves debido a una contingencia de operación en Chile.

JetSMART Perú no descarta sumar en el corto plazo rutas internacionales aprovechando la presencia de la empresa en otros mercados donde actualmente opera, lo que permitirá interconectar los destinos con la amplia red de servicio de todo el grupo en Chile, Argentina, Perú y próximamente en Colombia.

JetSMART exceeds one million passengers in Peru

JetSMART Airlines Peru has reached the number of million passengers on the domestic routes of the Republic of Peru after eleven months of operations before the annual period was initially established. JetSMART Airlines Peru projects to double the amount of passengers achieved in perspectives to a political stabilization of the country, with the objective of 2023 with two million passengers transported from the beginning of operations. To achieve the objectives, the Jetsmart Airlines Group matrix will transfer more A320neo aircraft in the coming months from Chile as new equipment arrives in the fleet.

The JetSMART Peru fleet is made up of four Airbus A320neo (4) aircraft, while three aircraft are currently operational due to an operation contingency in Chile.

JetSMART Peru does not rule out adding short-term international routes taking advantage of the presence of the company in other markets where it currently operates, which will allow the destinations to be interconnected with the wide service network of the entire group in Chile, Argentina, Peru, and soon in Colombia .
