Aerolínea busca regresar para mercado doméstico

La aerolínea Avianca Argentina se encuentra nuevamente considerando retornar a los cielos argentinos para competir en el mercado de cabotaje. Anteriormente, la aerolínea Avianca Argentina operó en el país durante el boom de la Revolución de los Aviones en el Gobierno de Mauricio Macri, junto al desarrollo de las low cost. A su cierre en 2019, la filial de la empresa de capitales colombianos de Avianca Holdings en el país mantiene varios aviones aparcados en Aeroparque, a la espera de destrabar su situación financiera.

Tras varios intentos de reapertura de su reinicio de operaciones, ahora en 2023 podría restablecer sus operaciones bajo otra la marca que había sido impulsada tras el cierre de Avianca Argentina, como Avian Líneas Aéreas, la nueva la razón social que protegió a Avianca Argentina en el país, mientras busca retornar sus operaciones con aeronaves ATR 72-600. La compañía regional ha estado estableciendo diálogos con Aerolíneas Argentinas para retornar sus vuelos como empresa feeder atendiendo rutas de baja densidad donde la compañía de bandera no pudiera operar.

Avian se encuentra en la búsqueda de inversiones fuertes para respaldar sus futuras operaciones. En diálogo con Germán Efromovich, fundador de Synergy Group ha expresado que no se encuentra detrás de las operaciones de Avian Líneas Aéreas: “Yo estoy asesorando al inversionista que tiene todo el interés de reactivar Avian, pero en Argentina la cosa anda muy lenta. El mercado argentino tiene muchas ventajas, pero todo está complicado. Mire, es muy raro que una aerolínea que está en el suelo vuelva a volar y Avian será la primera en la historia”.

Destrabando los cielos
Detrás de estos comentarios, abre la posibilidad de que Avian vuelva al mercado de cabotaje, pero el interés prioritario se encuentra en atraer capital, mientras que busca destrabar cuestiones burocráticas relacionadas con el acceso al mercado cambiario para saldar las deudas con sus anteriores proveedores.

Germán Efromovich no ha anticipado sobre cuándo podría reiniciar operaciones Avian Líneas Aéreas. Han abierto un paraguas para que la situación se normalice a partir de Junio de 2023 hacia delante, con una startup hacia el 4Q2023. La perspectiva de Avian es restablecer operaciones con las aeronaves ATR 72-600 (2) estacionadas en Aeroparque desde 2019, mientras que buscaría incorporar otras cuatro aeronaves adicionales para desarrollar el segmento de tercer nivel del mercado argentino.

The airline seeks to return to the domestic market

The Avianca Argentina airline is again considering returning to the Argentine skies to compete in the cabotage market.
