Alrededor 90% 737 MAX de China han reanudado operaciones
The Boeing Company ha anunciado que alrededor del 90% de aeronaves Boeing 737 MAX de China han reanudado la operación comercial a fines de Junio 2023, dijo el fabricante de aviones estadounidense en su cuenta oficial de WeChat el Miércoles 28/06. Algunos aviones han sido enviados a rutas internacionales regionales, dijo Sherry Carbary, Presidenta de Boeing China.
La República Popular de China dejó en tierra todos Boeing 737 MAX en el país tras los accidentes aéreos que involucraron dos aeronaves de esta variante. Según la información oficial, los transportistas chinos dejaron en tierra los 96 aviones que tenían en ese momento. La estatal China Southern Airlines fue la primera aerolínea del país en reanudar los vuelos del 737 MAX en Enero 2023. Desde entonces, las aerolíneas chinas han estado reintroduciendo gradualmente el modelo de nuevo a la operación. En Abril 2023, Boeing estimó que la mitad de la flota MAX del país estaba en funcionamiento.
“A fines de Junio, alrededor del 90% de la flota 737 MAX de China había reanudado las operaciones comerciales, con algunos de los aviones colocados en rutas internacionales regionales que conectan ciudades nacionales con varios destinos en Asia Central y el sudeste asiático”, dijo Sherry Carbary.
The Boeing Company, sin embargo, aún no ha reanudado las entregas a China, un mercado clave donde ha perdido terreno ante su archirrival Airbus Group en parte debido a las tensiones geopolíticas entre Estados Unidos y China.

Around 90% of China’s 737 MAX have resumed operations
The Boeing Company has announced that around 90% of China’s Boeing 737 MAX aircraft have resumed commercial operation by the end of June 2023, the US aircraft manufacturer said on its official WeChat account on Wednesday 06/28. Some planes have been sent to regional international routes, said Sherry Carbary, president of Boeing China.
The People’s Republic of China grounded all Boeing 737 MAX in the country after plane crashes involving two aircraft of this variant. According to official information, the Chinese carriers grounded the 96 aircraft they had at the time. State-owned China Southern Airlines was the country’s first airline to resume 737 MAX flights in January 2023. Since then, Chinese airlines have been gradually reintroducing the model back into operation. In April 2023, Boeing estimated that half of the country’s MAX fleet was in operation.
“As of the end of June, about 90% of China’s 737 MAX fleet had resumed commercial operations, with some of the aircraft placed on regional international routes connecting domestic cities with various destinations in Central Asia and Southeast Asia”, it said. Sherry Carbary.
The Boeing Company, however, has yet to resume deliveries to China, a key market where it has lost ground to arch-rival Airbus Group in part due to US-China geopolitical tensions.
Boeing Commercial Airplanes Chief Stanley A. Deal said in early June 2023 that the planemaker did not expect deliveries from China in the immediate future. In 2022, Boeing said it was in talks to put planes destined for Chinese customers back on the market. But in April 2023, China’s aviation regulator CAAC released a report that Boeing considered a key step in resuming deliveries of its best-selling 737 MAX jets. At the time, Boeing had more than 130 completed MAX aircraft in inventory for Chinese customers.
