Aterrizaje forzoso de Boeing 717 de Delta

Un Boeing 717-200 de Delta Air Lines, registro N955AT realizando el vuelo DL-1092 el Miércoles 28/06 desde Atlanta (GA) a Charlotte, (NC) en Estados Unidos con 104 personas a bordo, se acercaba a la Pista 36L de Charlotte cuando la tripulación inició una vuelta debido a una indicación de engranaje de nariz insegura, subió a 4000 pies y entró en espera en el aire para trabajar en las listas de verificación. Tras este procedimiento, la tripulación declaró la emergencia y solicitó servicios de emergencia en espera. El avión realizó una aproximación baja a la Pista 36L, se posicionó para otra aproximación a la Pista 36L y aterrizó sin el tren de nariz extendido a las 08:54L (12:54Z) aproximadamente 12 minutos después de la segunda vuelta y unos 30 minutos después de la primera vuelta. El avión se detuvo en la pista con su engranaje principal, mientras que se tren de nariz estaba retraído. Se informa que no se reportan heridos.

La aerolínea informó que el avión aterrizó con el engranaje de la nariz en su posición hacia arriba. Los pasajeros desembarcaron en la pista y fueron trasladados en autobús a la terminal. El vuelo DL-1092 transportaba 96 pasajeros y 5 tripulantes a bordo.

El 28 de Junio de 2023 a las 18:13Z, la NTSB anunció que están investigando la ocurrencia diciendo: “NTSB investigando el aterrizaje en pista de un Boeing 717-200 sin el engranaje de la nariz extendido en el aeropuerto internacional de Charlotte/Douglas en Charlotte, Carolina del Norte”.

El CEO de Delta, Ed Bastian, escribió en su cuenta de LinkedIn para expresar su gratitud a los miembros de la tripulación mientras se disculpaba con los pasajeros: “Nuestras tripulaciones entrenan extensamente para situaciones como esta y estoy orgulloso de su profesionalismo para aterrizar el avión de manera segura. Celebra aniversario situándose entre mejores del mundo

Iberia Líneas Aéreas de España celebra el Jueves 29 de Junio de 2023 su 96º aniversarios posicionándose como la decimocuarta aerolínea más grande del mundo y la tercera más grande de Europa, según Skytrax. El acontecimiento coincide con el cambio en la presidencia de la compañía con el revelo de Javier Sánchez-Prieto por parte de Fernando Candela, el nuevo CEO y Presidente Ejecutivo de la compañía y se produce, además, después de que la aerolínea haya completado su recuperación, en un momento de solidez en cuanto a experiencia del cliente, operaciones y resultados financieros.

Según los premios World Airline Awards de Skytrax, Iberia se sitúa como la tercera mejor aerolínea de Europa y en el puesto 14º del ranking mundial, mejorando su posición en 11 lugares en comparación con la edición anterior. Estos premios, considerados los premios Óscar de la aviación, se basan en más de 20 millones de encuestas realizadas a viajeros de más de cien nacionalidades entre septiembre de 2022 y mayo de 2023.

Mejor Tripulación de Cabina
Este reconocimiento respalda el trabajo realizado por Iberia, que en 2022 fue nombrada la aerolínea más puntual de Europa según Cirium. Aerolíneas esperan aprobaciones autoridades de Venezuela

El largo período que la aviación entre Colombia y Venezuela continúa estancada ha llevado a reclamos para restablecer las rutas entre ambos países, sin embargo, continúa demorados los procesos de los permisos que tienen que dar las autoridades venezolanas y colombianas. Tras la reactivación de las relaciones comerciales entre Colombia y Venezuela, el sector aéreo fue uno de los primeros que quiso aprovechar el momento para restablecer las rutas aéreas entre ambos estados. Compañías como Avianca Airlines, LATAM Airlines y Wingo anunciaron en 2022 cuáles eran los trayectos que pretendían cumplir, pero actualmente solo la colombiana Satena Airlines es la que tiene los permisos por parte de las autoridades de Venezuela y Colombia para realizar estos vuelos. Esta aerolínea comenzó su operación a ese país el Viernes 3 de Marzo de 2023 en donde viajaron 44 pasajeros, de los cuales 29 eran colombianos y 15 venezolanos.

La agencia Aeronáutica Civil de Colombia ha expresado que el proceso para que estas aerolíneas pudieran activar sus operaciones hacia Venezuela informaron que la Presidencia podría dar un pronunciamiento respecto al tema durante el final de la semana.

Satena Airlines vuela a Venezuela con tres frecuencias a la semana los Martes, Viernes y Domingo y proyectan abrir dos más en breve, para así llegar a un total de cinco frecuencias semanales. Según lo comentado por el Presidente de la aerolínea el General Óscar Zuluaga expresó: “actualmente estamos con una ocupación cercana 85% y estamos centrados en optimizar la conectividad entre Bogotá y Caracas”.

Aerolíneas buscan aprobaciones
La situación de las aerolíneas colombianas continúan en stand-by por parte de ambas agencias aeronáuticas. Eduardo Lombana, CEO de Wingo, se ha pronunciado que el principal plan de la compañía para el segundo semestre es activar sus rutas hacia Venezuela. El directivo destacó que eran los únicos que estaban volando antes de la pandemia, aseguró que ya están listos para operar y que ya tienen los permisos por parte de las autoridades venezolanas. Sin embargo, están esperando “el beneplácito del Gobierno Nacional, que nos ha dicho que estamos a días de poder iniciar operación y que nos den la luz verde para poder arrancar”.

El permiso que posee aprobado es por parte de la agencia aeronáutica INAC (Instituto Nacional de Aeronáutica Civil) de Venezuela, mientras que por parte de Aerocivil se encuentra demorado. Además, iniciarían con el trayecto Bogotá—Caracas, pero una vez tengan el aval, esperan agregar servicios desde otras ciudades de Colombia a otras ciudades como Maracaibo y Valencia.

La aerolínea LATAM Airlines Colombia, ha confirmado esta semana que cuentan con la aprobación del INAC de Venezuela para operar las rutas. Sin embargo, también aclararon que están a la espera de la Aerocivil colombiana para “recibir el permiso de comercialización de esta ruta con siete frecuencias semanales”.

El caso de Avianca Airlines es opuesto al de Wingo y LATAM, pues esta aerolínea cuenta con el permiso de la Aeronáutica Civil, pero siguen finalizando la etapa de permisos con el Instituto Nacional de Aeronáutica Civil de Venezuela. La empresa colombiana solicitó la aprobación para tener siete frecuencias de vuelos.

“En Avianca estamos listos, seguimos interesados y hemos avanzado regulatoriamente hasta donde se nos ha permitido para volver a operar la ruta Bogotá—Caracas—Bogotá, que volamos por más de sesenta años. A la fecha, ya contamos con la aprobación de la Aeronáutica Civil de Colombia para operar dicha ruta”, dijo Viviana Martín, Directora Global de Relaciones Institucionales de Avianca.

The airline LATAM Airlines Colombia has confirmed this week that they have the approval of the INAC of Venezuela to operate the routes. However, they also clarified that they are waiting for the Colombian Aerocivil to “receive the marketing permit for this route with seven weekly frequencies”.

The case of Avianca Airlines is opposite to that of Wingo and LATAM since this airline has the permission of the Civil Aeronautics, but they continue to finish the permit stage with the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics of Venezuela. The Colombian company requested approval to have seven flight frequencies.

“At Avianca we are ready, we remain interested and we have made regulatory progress as far as we have been allowed to re-operate the Bogotá-Caracas-Bogotá route, which we have been flying for more than sixty years.
