Delta Air Lines y EL AL Israel Airlines lanzarán asociación estratégica

Delta Air Lines y EL AL Israel Airlines han firmado un acuerdo para lanzar una asociación estratégica que ofrecerá conexiones más convenientes para los clientes que vuelan entre los Estados Unidos e Israel. Delta Air Lines and EL AL Israel Airlines have signed an agreement to launch a strategic partnership that will offer more convenient connections for customers flying between the United States and Israel. The airlines will implement reciprocal codeshare and frequent flyer benefits, including the ability to earn and redeem miles between the two airlines.

Initially, customers connecting to Delta or EL AL services will be able to check in throughout their entire trip, with issued boarding passes and checked baggage to their destination. Delta offers up to 200 same-day connections from Tel Aviv via its US gateways Atlanta, Boston, and New York/JFK, while EL AL offers customers additional nonstop service to Tel Aviv from Boston and New York/JFK, along with its Los Angeles, Miami, and Newark service. In due course, both airlines will add their respective codes on flights operated by the other.

EL AL Israel Airlines will seek to offer customers in the region more accessible to Delta’s established network in the United States and other areas of the world. EL AL currently provides service to John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), Miami International Airport (MIA), Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), and Los Angeles Logan International Airport.
