Airbus Helicopters H175 obtiene la certificación CAAC

Airbus Helicopters ha recibido la certificación de la Administración de Aviación Civil de China (CAAC) para el helicóptero H175. Esta certificación permitirá que las entregas del H175 comiencen en China, uno de los mercados más exigentes a nivel mundial para helicópteros civiles con una creciente necesidad del segmento súper mediano. Se entregarán cuatro H175 a clientes chinos en 2023.

El rendimiento y la confiabilidad avanzados y de última generación del H175 servirán para brindar a la gente de China la capacidad de realizar misiones críticas para salvar vidas incluso en las condiciones más severas”, dijo Bruno Even, CEO de Airbus Helicopters.

Para sostener el crecimiento del mercado de helicópteros en China, Airbus Helicopters se compromete a trabajar conjuntamente con la industria china para desarrollar el mercado civil chino con productos como el H175, con el objetivo de servir a los intereses del pueblo chino y la economía. En servicio desde 2015, el H175 de Airbus pertenece a la clase de helicópteros súper medianos. Al combinar el largo alcance con una calidad de vuelo avanzada, proporciona la mejor solución para una serie de misiones, incluido el cambio de tripulación en alta mar, SAR, todos los servicios públicos y la aviación privada y de negocios. Los 53 H175 actualmente en servicio acumulan más de 185.000 horas de vuelo en 13 países.

Airbus Helicopters has received certification from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) for the H175 helicopter. This certification will allow deliveries of the H175 to begin in China, one of the world’s most demanding markets for civil helicopters with a growing need for the super-midsize segment. Four H175s will be delivered to Chinese customers in 2023.

To support the growth of the helicopter market in China, Airbus Helicopters is committed to working together with the Chinese industry to develop the Chinese civilian market with products such as the H175, with the aim of serving the interests of the Chinese people and economy. In service since 2015, the Airbus H175 belongs to the super-medium helicopter class. Combining long-range with advanced flight quality, it provides the best solution for a number of missions, including offshore crew change, SAR, all utilities, and business and private aviation. The 53 H175 currently in service have accumulated more than 185,000 flight hours in 13 countries.

Northern Pacific inicia operaciones

Northern Pacific Airways un comienzo moderado

Northern Pacific Airways finalmente ha inicia sus operaciones el pasado 14 de Julio de 2023 en la ruta Ontario–Las Vegas. La operación anunciada en Marzo de 2023 ha permitido alcanzar la autorización por parte de la Administración Federal de Aviación (FAA).

Northern Pacific Airways es una aerolínea de bajo costo con sede en Anchorage, Alaska, Estados Unidos. Las operaciones comenzaron el 14 de Julio de 2023 con su vuelo inaugural desde el Aeropuerto Internacional de Ontario en Ontario, California, al Aeropuerto Internacional Harry Reid en Las Vegas, Nevada.

El primer vuelo está lejos de su objetivo inicial de la compañía de conectar distintas ciudades de los Estados Unidos con Asia a través de la creación de un hub en Anchorage, Alaska. Northern Pacific ofrece escapadas de fin de semana con vuelos semanales los Viernes desde Ontario a Las Vegas y regresos los Domingos.

La compañía no espera un resultado positivo de esta operación en términos financieros. De hecho, es altamente probable que sea adversa. Se entiende como una apuesta que le será retribuida en las futuras operaciones.

La primera operación se ve opacada por una demora a la salida y por la cancelación del vuelo de regreso del Domingo 16/07. La razón responde a una falla menor del único Boeing 757-200 que tiene activo entre tres en su flota. “Todos los pasajeros han sido reembolsados o acomodados en otros vuelos o transporte alternativo. Estos son los problemas desafortunados que surgen al iniciar una nueva aerolínea. Northern Pacific Airways se disculpa por cualquier inconveniente causado a nuestros valiosos clientes”, expresa el comunicado de la compañía. Northern Pacific asegura que podrá cumplir su segunda operación programada para el Viernes 21/07.

La perspectivas de la nueva aerolínea estadounidense es proyectar los vuelos a Asia para 2024. Después de postergar sus planes por la lenta apertura de Asia, especialmente, China, Northern Pacific Airways fija 2024 como el año para llegar a Asia e implementar el hub en Anchorage. La compañía planea utilizar entre una flota de catorce Boeing 757-200 para implementar el modelo de negocios similar al que Icelandair tiene desarrollado en el Atlántico Norte. Para competir, la compañía planea ofrecer planes de stop over en Anchorage con el fin de incentivar el turismo en Alaska. También confía en la capacidad en rutas de media distancia de las aeronaves Boeing 757-200 para realizar destinos a ambos lados del Pacífico. Northern Pacific también planea comercializar vuelos chárter a Latinoamérica.

Northern Pacific Airways finally started its operations on July 14, 2023, on the Ontario-Las Vegas route. The operation announced in March 2023 has made it possible to achieve authorization by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Northern Pacific Airways is a low-cost airline headquartered in Anchorage, Alaska, United States. Operations began on July 14, 2023, with its maiden flight from Ontario International Airport in Ontario, California, to Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The first flight is far from the company’s initial goal of connecting different cities in the United States with Asia through the creation of a hub in Anchorage, Alaska. Northern Pacific offers weekend getaways with weekly flights on Fridays from Ontario to Las Vegas and returns on Sundays.

The company does not expect a positive result from this operation in financial terms. In fact, it is highly likely that it is adverse. It is understood as a bet that will be paid for in future operations.

The first operation is overshadowed by a delay at departure and by the cancellation of the return flight on Sunday 07/16. The reason responds to a minor failure of the only Boeing 757-200 that has active among three in its fleet. “All passengers have been reimbursed or accommodated on other flights or alternative transportation. These are the unfortunate problems that arise when starting a new airline. Northern Pacific Airways apologizes for any inconvenience caused to our valued customers”. Northern Pacific assures that it will be able to fulfill its second operation scheduled for Friday 07/21.

The perspective of the new US airline is to project flights to Asia for 2024. After postponing its plans due to the slow opening of Asia, especially China, Northern Pacific Airways sets 2024 as the year to reach Asia and implement the hub in Anchorage. The company plans to use a fleet of fourteen Boeing 757-200s to implement a business model similar to the one Icelandair has developed in the North Atlantic. To compete, the company plans to offer stop-over plans in Anchorage in order to encourage tourism in Alaska. It also trusts in the medium-distance route capacity of the Boeing 757-200 aircraft to make destinations on both sides of the Pacific. Northern Pacific also plans to market charter flights to Latin America.
