Arajet confirma desembarco en Noviembre 2023

Arajet ha confirmado el desembarco en Argentina, iniciando el proceso de conexión con el Caribe a partir de Noviembre 2023, una nueva etapa de crecimiento en el país austral americano. El arribo de de la aerolínea de República Dominicana a Argentina comienza a promocionar y generar gran expectativa entre viajeros permitiendo acceder a tarifas competitivas y destinos turísticos atrayentes del Caribe.

Arajet, la aerolínea low cost que comenzará a operar en Argentina, posee su sede en Santo Domingo, República Dominicana, inició operaciones en Septiembre de 2022 y en Argentina está previsto que aterrice el Martes 14 de Noviembre de 2023 en la ruta Santo Domingo—Buenos Aires. Las promociones de sus pasajes aéreos Arajet se inician desde US$ 563. Ofrecerá tres frecuencias semanales (3Frq/S). Los vuelos desde Santo Domingo despegarán los Martes, Jueves y Domingo a las 17:55 y aterrizarán en Buenos Aires a las 03:05. Expansión en América

Acción reclamos por mejoras salariales

Los pilotos de Southwest Airlines anunciaron una concentración el Jueves 31/08 en el Aeropuerto BWI Thurgood Marshall, Baltimore (Maryland). Las protestas se han multiplicado en otros aeropuertos más concurridos de Estados Unidos, entre ellos los aeropuertos de Los Angeles (California), Hartsfield-Jackson (Atlanta), Houston-Hobby (Texas) y Chicago-Midway (Illinois).

La Asociación de Pilotos de Southwest Airlines (SWAPA) dice que han estado tratando durante tres años de llegar a un acuerdo con la aerolínea, y el 99 por ciento de los miembros del sindicato votaron en Mayo 2023 a favor de una huelga.

SWAPA dice que Southwest Airlines es la última aerolínea importante sin un acuerdo en principio y han perdido cientos de pilotos a otras aerolíneas ya este año. Las negociaciones han durado un proceso de tres años y medio, sin avanzar en las negociaciones contractuales.

This comes as American Airlines Flight Attendants voted to strike as they fight for a new contract with pay increases and more staff on flights. The airline recently reached an agreement with pilots that gives them a 21 percent raise and a 46 percent raise by 2027. The strike vote is largely symbolic because there are many steps that must take place before it can a real strike occurs. Off-duty Flight Attendants are holding informational events at a dozen airports to lobby their employers.

Demoras por dificultades financieras

El relanzamiento de Monarch Airlines ha tenido un nuevo capítudo en un estancamiento para el reinicio de sus operaciones en el Reino Unido. Quinta edición promoción de paquete turístico

El Gobierno de Argentina lanza la quinta edición del programa de incentivos turísticos PreViaje 5 con el objetivo de estimular el apoyo a las economías regionales y los vuelos doméstico. El Gobierno lanzará oficialmente esta nueva edición el Jueves 31/08 con promociones que se aplicarán con validez para el fin de semana largo de Octubre 2023. La medida busca reimpulsar el turismo en el país.

El Ministerio de Turismo de la Nación confirmaron los principales puntos de esta quinta campaña del programa de fomento al turismo doméstico que reintegra hasta la mitad de los consumos realizados en comercios del sector. La quinta edición del programa PreViaje podrá utilizarse para viajar entre los meses de Septiembre y Octubre de 2023.

La última edición del Previaje 4 se extendió desde el 24 de Mayo hasta el 30 de Junio de 2023 con una participación de más de un millón de turistas argentinos para viajar por el país.

Previaje 5
El Previaje 5 se extenderá entre los últimos días de Septiembre y parte de Octubre de 2023, e incluirá al fin de semana largo de 13 al 16 de Octubre de 2023. El tope de reintegro será de AR$ 100.000, un 42% más que el límite de AR$ 70.000 de la versión anterior. El sistema será el mismo de siempre, con 50% de devolución y 70% por los afiliados a PAMI. Además, el Gobierno estableció un feriado puente el Viernes 13/10, y el Día del Respeto a la Diversidad Cultural, originalmente el 12 de Octubre de 2023, se trasladará al Lunes 16/10, por lo que, las personas interesadas podrán utilizar PreViaje para viajar durante ese fin de semana largo.

La compra de los servicios de paquetes turísticos permitirá acceder a pasajes, alojamiento y paquetes dentro del país para los meses de Septiembre y Octubre 2023 en temporada baja. Una vez realizada la compra de hoteles, pasajes o cualquier otro servicio turístico, es necesario ingresar en http://www.previaje.gob.ar con el usuario de MiArgentina nivel 3.
