Aerolíneas Argentinas propuesta arquirir 12 Embraer E195-E2
Aerolíneas Argentinas ha anunciado el interés por la renovación de su flota de aeronaves regionales con Embraer E195-E2. La aerolínea estatal ha emitido una Solicitud de Propuestas (RFP) para el financiamiento y adquisición de los nuevos aviones de última generacin del constructor brasileño Embraer.
Como parte de la propuesta de Aerolíneas, buscan materializar un acuerdo por doce (12) unidades del E195-E2, concretando un lote de adquisición por dos aeronaves en 2024, cinco en 2025 y los últimos cinco en 2026. El transportista ha expresado que se encuentra abierto a un diálogo en la negociación contractual.
El E195-E2 ha sido considerado por Aerolíneas Argentinas como un reemplazo natural de su flota de 26 Embrer E190-100 que posee en su flota.
En Noviembre de 2022, Pablo Ceriani, CEO de la compañía, declaró que se encontraban estudiando actualizar la flota visualizando los candidatos el Airbus A220 y el E195-E2, pero que consideraba que el avión Embraer era una transición más fácil para los pilotos de la primera generación de E190.
Aerolíneas Argentinas cuenta actualmente con una flota de 26 E190, heredada de Austral Líneas Aéreas. La gerencia anterior, designada por el Gobierno de Mauricio Macri, incluso consideró retirar los E190 del servicio, pero su sucesor, Alberto Fernández, cambió de planes y mantuvo el avión. En Febrero 2023, Pablo Ceriani reveló que los aviones de Embraer podrían configurarse con 136 asientos, la misma capacidad que el E195-E2 de Azul Linhas Aéreas.
De confirmar un contrato de operación para la adquisición de las aeronaves, Aerolíneas Argentinas será el tercer operador de la familia E2 en el continente americano, junto con Azul Linhas Aéreas y la canadiense Porter Airlines.

Aerolíneas Argentinas proposed to acquire 12 Embraer E195-E2
Aerolíneas Argentinas has announced interest in renewing its regional aircraft fleet with the Embraer E195-E2. The state airline has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the financing and acquisition of the new state-of-the-art aircraft of the Brazilian manufacturer Embraer.
As part of the Aerolíneas proposal, they seek to materialize an agreement for twelve (12) units of the E195-E2, specifying an acquisition lot for two aircraft in 2024, five in 2025, and the last five in 2026. The carrier has expressed that it is open to a dialogue in the contractual negotiation.
The E195-E2 has been considered by Aerolíneas Argentinas as a natural replacement for its fleet of 26 Embrer E190-100 that it owns in its fleet.
In November 2022, Pablo Ceriani, CEO of the company, declared that they were studying updating the fleet, visualizing the Airbus A220 and E195-E2 candidates, but that he considered that the Embraer aircraft was an easier transition for pilots of the first generation of E190.
Aerolíneas Argentinas currently has a fleet of 26 E190s, inherited from Austral Líneas Aéreas. The previous management, appointed by the Government of Mauricio Macri, even considered withdrawing the E190 from service, but his successor, Alberto Fernández, changed his plans and kept the plane. In February 2023, Pablo Ceriani revealed that Embraer aircraft could be configured with 136 seats, the same capacity as Azul Linhas Aéreas’ E195-E2.
If an operating contract for the acquisition of the aircraft is confirmed, Aerolíneas Argentinas will be the third operator of the E2 family in the Americas, together with Azul Linhas Aéreas and Canadian Porter Airlines.
