American-JetSMART codeshare Perú-EEUU
American Airlines y JetSMART Airlines ampliaron su red de vuelos de código compartido desde Estados Unidos hacia siete destinos de Perú, entre estos a Cusco con conexión en Lima. Así mismo, se podrá conectar con ciudades como Arequipa, Chiclayo, Cajamarca, Piura, Tarapoto y Trujillo. American llegará a Sudamérica con las 77 rutas de JetSMART, incluyendo las de Chile, como Calama, Iquique, Temuco, Antofagasta, Concepción y Puerto Montt a través de Santiago. Además, prevé llegar a Argentina, cuando sea aprobada por el Gobierno y hacia Colombia, cuando inicie operaciones domésticas.

Hoy, damos un paso más en nuestra evolución haciendo historia con el lanzamiento de una alianza entre Jetsmart y American Airlines, que crea nuevas oportunidades de viaje entre Perú y Estados Unidos. Además, nuestros clientes podrán acumular millas y volar en la red Jetsmart y conectarse a la red mundial de American Airlines. Por su parte, Scott Laurence, Vicepresidente Senior de Estrategia de Alianzas de American, dijo que “Nos complace ampliar nuestra red sudamericana con nuestra alianza con Jetsmart, lo que permitirá a nuestros clientes acceder a más destinos y opciones de viaje en Perú. Tanto si los clientes viajan por placer o por negocios, el ofrecer más opciones de vuelos a Sudamérica es fundamental para nuestra alianza estratégica”.
JetSMART Airlines anunció que tendrá nuevos beneficios para sus clientes con la alianza de American Airlines, que además de acordar códigos compartidos podrán acceder al programa de viajero frecuente de la compañía estadounidense a partir de 2024, lo que permitirá al pasajero acumular millas y canjearlas con JetSMART, American y en toda la red de Oneworld.

American Airlines and JetSMART Airlines expanded their network of codeshare flights from the United States to seven destinations in Peru, including Cusco with a connection in Lima. JetSMART Airlines announced that it will have new benefits for its customers with the American Airlines alliance, which, in addition to agreeing on shared codes, will be able to access the frequent flyer program of the US company starting in 2024, which will allow the passenger to accumulate miles and redeem them with JetSMART, American and across the Oneworld network.
