Nuevo cliente de Embraer selecciona E175-E1
La primera aerolínea de las Islas Bermudas con sede en Hamilton, BermudAir, ha recibido el Sábado 19/08 el primer Embraer E175 de dos aviones ordenados. La aerolínea operará las aeronaves en rutas a los Estados Unidos. El primer avión registrado VQ-BLU fue transportado desde el Aeropuerto de Muskoka en Gravenhurst, Ontario (Canadá) a las Islas Bermudas. BermudAir recibió su Certificado de Operador Aéreo (AOC) el 25 de Julio de 2023 y planea iniciar servicio a los Estados Unidos tan pronto como reciba su Permiso de Transportista Aéreo Extranjero.
BermudAir operará desde el Aeropuerto Internacional L.F. Wade (TXKF) hacia tres ciudades de los Estados Unidos: Bermudas (BDA) y White Plains (HPN) 2Frq/D durante seis días por semana, Bermudas (BDA) y Ft. Lauderdale (FLL) 1Frq/D durante seis días a la semana, Bermudas (BDA) y Boston (BOS) 1Frq/D durante seis días a la semana.
La aerolínea ha arrendado dos aviones Embraer E175 de diez años de antigüedad de la compañía de arrendamiento Azorra Aviation. Alcanzaron la matriculación nacional VQ-BLU y VQ-BLW. Ambos aviones están configurados para treinta pasajeros distribuidos en clase ejecutiva en 15 filas con un diseño 1-1. Anteriormente, las aeronaves explotaban los servicios para la extinta FlyBe en una configuración con 88 asientos.

The first airline of the Bermuda Islands based in Hamilton, BermudAir, has taken delivery on Saturday 19/08 of the first Embraer E175 of two aircraft ordered. The airline will operate the aircraft on routes to the United States. The first VQ-BLU registered aircraft was transported from Muskoka Airport in Gravenhurst, Ontario (Canada) to the Bermuda Islands.
BermudAir received its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) on July 25, 2023, and plans to begin service to the United States as soon as it receives its Foreign Air Carrier Permit. BermudAir will operate from L.F. Wade (TXKF) to three cities in the United States: Bermuda (BDA) and White Plains (HPN) 2Frq/D for six days a week, Bermuda (BDA) and Ft. Lauderdale (FLL) 1Frq/D for six days a week, Bermuda (BDA) and Boston (BOS) 1Frq/D for six days a week.
The airline has leased two ten-year-old Embraer E175 aircraft from the leasing company Azorra Aviation. They reached the national registration VQ-BLU and VQ-BLW. Both aircraft are configured for thirty business class passengers in 15 rows in a 1-1 layout. Previously, the aircraft operated the services for the extinct FlyBe in a configuration with 88 seats.
