Reforzará para flota regional
Air New Zealand ha anunciado aumentar su flota regional al realizar un pedido de hasta cuatro (4) turbohélices ATR 72-600, más dos opciones adicionales con el fabricante franco-italiano ATR Aircraft.
El Vicepresidente Senior de Comercial de ATR Aircraft, Alexis Vidal, declaró que: “La relación de ATR con Air New Zealand es invaluable. A lo largo de los años, hemos crecido, innovado y empujado juntos los límites del transporte aéreo regional. La razón es que hacemos la combinación perfecta: para prosperar en Nueva Zelanda, un avión debe ser versátil, eficiente y, por lo tanto, de bajas emisiones”.
Air New Zealand recibirá el primer avión en la segunda mitad de 2024, y el segundo a principios de 2025. Los ATR 72-600 tienen capacidad para 68 pasajeros. Reinforce for Regional Fleet
Air New Zealand has announced to increase its regional fleet by placing an order for up to four (4) ATR 72-600 turboprops, plus two additional options with French-Italian manufacturer ATR Aircraft.
ATR Aircraft Senior Vice President of Commercial, Alexis Vidal, stated: “ATR’s relationship with Air New Zealand is invaluable. Over the years, we have grown, innovated, and pushed the boundaries of regional air transport together. The reason It’s that we make the perfect match: to thrive in New Zealand, an aircraft must be versatile, efficient, and therefore low-emission”.
Air New Zealand will take delivery of the first aircraft in the second half of 2024, with the second in early 2025. ATR 72-600s seat 68 passengers. The presence of the new aircraft will provide a welcome boost, offering more than 5,700 additional seats per week. The turboprop aircraft will be used to boost the regional market in New Zealand. ATR 72-600s are an integral part of Air New Zealand’s domestic network. According to a separate statement released today by Air New Zealand, the airline’s ATR 72-600 aircraft fly customers to regional destinations such as Tauranga and Nelson.
