Frontier Airlines nuevas rutas a México/Dominicana
La aerolínea estadounidense de ultra bajo costo Frontier Airlines anuncia nuevos vuelos para el próximo invierno septentrional, comunicando una larga lista de nuevas rutas en su red en constante expansión. La aerolínea anunció el Miércoles 23/08 sus intenciones de conectar Minneapolis (MSP) con Cancún (CUM) y Miami (MIA) con Santo Domingo, en República Dominicana.
Fort Meyers (RSW) es el mayor ganador con el anuncio con cinco rutas programadas para comenzar a finales de este año. Esto es seguido de cerca por Minneapolis St. Paul, que verá tres nuevos servicios esperados. Frontier Airlines da la bienvenida desde Fort Meyers a nuevos servicios a Detroit (DTW) y Syracuse (SYR), con tres frecuencias semanales (3Frq/S), a Buffalo (BUF) con cuatro vuelos semanales (4Frq/S), y Minneapolis St. Paul (MSP) y Long Island (ISP), con un servicio diario (1Frq/D). Todas las rutas anteriores despegarán a partir del 16 de Noviembre de 2023, con excepción de Buffalo, que despegará el 17/11. Los habitantes del Estado de Minnesota podrán acceder a vuelos desde Minneapolis-St. Paul/MSP—Cancún (CUN), México, siendo el próximo destino internacional de Frontier, con un servicio tres frecuencias semanales (3Frq/S) que se lanzará el 16 de Noviembre de 2023, junto con los servicios a Fort Meyers/RSW—Orlando/MCO. Detroit y Chicago también se beneficiarán de los servicios de la ULCC para México, con un servicio diario que se lanzará el 16 de Noviembre de 2023 en la ruta Chicago Midway/MDW—Detroit/DTW. El vuelo de la aerolínea de Chicago Midway a Cancún aún está sujeto a la aprobación del gobierno regulador.
La capital de la República Dominicana, Santo Domingo (SDQ), verá el lanzamiento de dos nuevos servicios antes del 2024, con Miami a la capital también lanzando el 16/11. Un servicio de Filadelfia (PHL) también está programado para despegar a partir del 17/12. Ambas rutas operarán con tres vuelos por semana (3Frq/S).

Frontier Airlines también ha anunciado vuelos desde el Estado de Florida que verán el lanzamiento de servicios desde Cleveland (CLE) a Miami (MIA) con tres frecuencias semanales (3Frq/S) a partir del 16/11 y una conexión diaria Cleveland/CLE—Sarasota/SRQ a partir del 21 de Diciembre de 2023. Un nuevo vuelo desde el Estado de Maryland también conectará Baltimore/BWI—Tampa/TPA diariamente (1Frq/D) a partir de mediados de Noviembre 2023. Frontier Airlines también espera lanzar un servicio Cleveland/CLE—Miami/MIA tres veces por semana (3Frq/S) a partir del 16 de Noviembre de 2023 con cuatro frecuencias semanales (4Frq/S) a partir del 23 de Noviembre de 2023.
El Vicepresidente Senior Comercial de Frontier Airlines, Daniel Shurz, ha expresado acerca de la expansión de nuevas rutas: “Estamos encantados de expandir nuestras ofertas ininterrumpidas en toda nuestra red. Junto con más rutas a Florida, un nuevo servicio a México y la República Dominicana también está en el horizonte. Frontier Airlines new routes to Mexico and the Dominican Republic
US ultra-low-cost airline Frontier Airlines announces new flights for the upcoming northern winter, announcing a long list of new routes on its ever-expanding network. The airline announced on Wednesday 08/23 its intentions to connect Minneapolis (MSP) with Cancun (CUM) and Miami (MIA) with Santo Domingo, in the Dominican Republic.
Fort Meyers (RSW) is the biggest winner with the announcement of five routes scheduled to start later this year. This is closely followed by Minneapolis St. Paul, which will see three new services expected. Frontier Airlines welcomes new services from Fort Meyers to Detroit (DTW) and Syracuse (SYR), with three weekly frequencies (3Frq/S), to Buffalo (BUF) with four weekly flights (4Frq/S), and Minneapolis St. Paul (MSP) and Long Island (ISP), with daily service (1Frq/D). All of the above routes will take off on November 16, 2023, with the exception of Buffalo, which will take off on 11/17. Residents of the State of Minnesota will be able to access flights from Minneapolis-St. Paul/MSP—Cancún (CUN), Mexico, being Frontier’s next international destination, with service three weekly frequencies (3Frq/S) to launch on November 16, 2023, along with services to Fort Meyers/RSW—Orlando/MCO. Detroit and Chicago will also benefit from ULCC services to Mexico, with daily service launching November 16, 2023, on the Chicago Midway/MDW—Detroit/DTW route. The airline’s flight from Chicago Midway to Cancun is still subject to government regulatory approval.
The capital of the Dominican Republic, Santo Domingo (SDQ), will see the launch of two new services before 2024, with Miami to the capital also launching on 11/16. A Philadelphia (PHL) service is also scheduled to take off beginning 12/17. Both routes will operate with three flights per week (3Frq/S).

Frontier Airlines has also announced flights from the State of Florida that will see the launch of services from Cleveland (CLE) to Miami (MIA) with three weekly frequencies (3Frq/S) starting on 11/16 and a daily Cleveland/CLE connection— Sarasota/SRQ beginning December 21, 2023. A new flight from the State of Maryland will also connect Baltimore/BWI—Tampa/TPA daily (1Frq/D) beginning mid-November 2023. Frontier Airlines also expects to launch service Cleveland/CLE—Miami/MIA three times a week (3Frq/S) beginning November 16, 2023, with four weekly frequencies (4Frq/S) beginning November 23, 2023.
