Flybondi ha incorporado una nueva aeronave Boeing 737-800 a su flota aérea. El Sábado 26/08 realizó el vuelo ferry en su largo recorrido hasta la Argentina el Boeing 737-800 con registro pasante 2-GOWW para la low cost. Despegó desde la ciudad china de Jinan a las 05:39 y aterrizó en el Aeropuerto Haneda de Tokio a las 09:22 con una duración de viaje de 2 horas 43 minutos de vuelo. La segunda escala correspondió al vuelo transpacífico hacia Anchorage, Alaska (EEUU) a las 11:12 arribando a las 01:10 con un tiempo de vuelo de 6 horas 58 minutos. La tercer escala hacia San Antonio, Texas, luego Guayaquil (Ecuador), arribando al Aeropuerto Buenos Aires/Ezeiza Argentina este Lunes 28 de Agosto de 2023.

La ruta del Boeing 737-8T8 fue en vuelo ferry (vuelo sin pasajeros): Jinan (China)–Tokio (Japón)–Anchorage (Alaska)–San Antonio (EEUU)–Guayaquil (Ecuador)–Buenos Aires (Argentina).

La fecha del primer vuelo de realizó el 22/03/2006, con una planta motriz de dos motores CFMI CFM56-7B27. La configuraciónon del avión es de Y189 en clase económica. La particularidad de este avión Boeing 737-800 es que no posee winglets en los extremos de las puntas alares, elementos que se incorporaron a las aeronaves 737 después de su modelo original.

La aeronave inició sus operaciones para la aerolínea china Shanghai Airlines bajo matrícula B-5140 el 07/04/2006 en formato de leasing de ILFC, luego adquirida por AerCap en Abril de 2006. Fue almacenado en 01/2023. Flybondi toma la aeronave bajo arrendamiento y obtendrá la matrícula nacional LV-KJD. Este nuevo avión a la flota de Flybondi, con capacidad para transportar a Y189 personas en clase Economy, se encuentra en espera de los procesos administrativos y de certificación necesarios antes de que comience a operar comercialmente en Argentina.

Flybondi opera actualmente una flota de doce (12) Boeing 737-800 que corresponden a los registros LV-KCE, LV-KGN, LV-KDQ, LV-KEF, LV-KEG, LV-KAY, LV-KDR, LV-KEH, LV-KHO, LV-KAH, LV-HKN y LV-KCD. La décimo tercera nueva incorporación permitirá ampliar la red de servicios junto con las dos nuevas aeronaves que se esperan arriben hacia el cuarto período de 2023, alcanzando un total de quince aviones en su flota proyectada para aprovechar a pleno la temporada estival 2023-2024.
