China Southern recibe avión número 900 a su mega-flota
China Southern Airlines ha alcanzado un hito histórico significativo al tomar entrega de su avión número 900 a su flota, convirtiendo en la primera aerolínea en China en alcanzar el número de aviones. La aeronave COMAC ARJ 21-700 número 20 de la línea aérea ha ingresado a su flota. La aerolínea ha ampliado estratégicamente su flota de aviones ARJ21, que se operan principalmente en Guangzhou y Shantou, mejorando su red de rutas y conectividad con las principales ciudades.

China Southern Airlines ha expresado el interés por aumentar el tamaño de la flota de aviones ARJ21. China Southern Airlines recibió su primer avión ARJ21 de COMAC el 28 de Junio de 2020. Se espera que para 2024, China Southern Airlines tenga 40 aviones ARJ21. La compañía Shantou de China Southern Airlines recibió su primer avión ARJ21 el 24 de Marzo de 2023. Actualmente operan principalmente en la sede de Guangzhou y la base de Shantou, con una tasa de fiabilidad de despacho que alcanza el 99,87%. La red de rutas para el ARJ21 se ha introducido para abrir cuatro rutas nacionales y más de veinte rutas interprovinciales, construyendo una red de rutas de corta y media distancias.

China Southern Airlines has reached a significant historical milestone by taking delivery of its 900th aircraft to its fleet, becoming the first airline in China to achieve the number of aircraft. The COMAC ARJ 21-700 aircraft number 20 of the airline has entered its fleet. The airline has strategically expanded its fleet of ARJ21 aircraft, which are mainly operated in Guangzhou and Shantou, improving its route network and connectivity with major cities.
China Southern Airlines’ fleet size first exceeded 100 aircraft in 1998, reached 500 aircraft in 2013, 800 aircraft in 2018, and has now reached 900 aircraft.
