Vuelo inaugural vuelos Miami-Nassau 05/11
Delta Air Lines ha anunciado una nueva ruta hacia el Cariba con los primeros vuelos directos de la aerolínea Miami/MIA—Nassau/NAS. La aerolínea con sede en Atlanta/Hartsfield (GA) unirá el Aeropuerto Miami con el Aeropuerto Lynden Pindling a partir del 5 de Noviembre de 2023. Los vuelos diarios operarán durante todo el año, expresaron funcionarios del Gobierno y turismo de Bahamas. La ruta entre Miami y Nassau estará servido con aeronaves Boeing 737-800.
La ruta desde Miami hacia las Islas Bahamas representan un nuevo impulso para el turismo ofreciendo desde el Estado de Florida más de 70.000 visitantes a la Bahamas durante los primeros seis meses de 2023, según estadísticas del Ministerio de Turismo de Bahamas. Los nuevos vuelos se deben a “la increíble demanda del destino y la recompensa de Nuestros esfuerzos para fortalecer las asociaciones para aumentar los visitantes de escala a nuestro costas. La ruta ayudará a satisfacer a los bahameños a llegar y salir de Florida más fácilmente”, dijo Chester Cooper, Ministro de Turismo de Bahamas.
El nuevo servicio proporcionará opciones aéreas adicionales para los viajeros a Bahamas Culinary & Arts Festival, programado del 27 al 29 de octubre en el mega-resort Baha Mar.
Con la nueva ruta, Delta Air Lines ahora servirá a Nassau desde aeropuertos de Estados Unidos, incluyendo Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta, Boston Logan International, y John F. Kennedy International y LaGuardia International en Nueva York.

Delta Air Lines has announced a new route to the Caribbean with the first direct flights of the Miami/MIA—Nassau/NAS airline. The Atlanta/Hartsfield (GA)-based airline will link Miami Airport with Lynden Pindling Airport beginning November 5, 2023. Daily flights will operate year-round, Bahamas government and tourism officials said. The route between Miami and Nassau will be served with Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
The route from Miami to the Bahamas Islands represents a new boost for tourism, offering more than 70,000 visitors to the Bahamas from the State of Florida during the first six months of 2023, according to statistics from the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism. The new flights are due to “the incredible demand for the destination and the reward of our efforts to strengthen partnerships to increase stopover visitors to our shores. The route will help satisfy Bahamians to get to and from Florida more easily”, said Chester Cooper, Bahamas Minister of Tourism.
The new service will provide additional air options for travelers to the Bahamas Culinary & Arts Festival, scheduled for October 27-29 at the Baha Mar mega-resort.
With the new route, Delta Air Lines will now serve Nassau from airports in the United States, including Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta, Boston Logan International, John F. Kennedy International, and LaGuardia International in New York.
