China Southern Airlines confirma baja Airbus A380

La aerolínea más grande de la República Popular de China, China Southern Airlines, ha anunciado la baja comercial de la línea Airbus A380 Superjumbo. La compañía había pasado a retiro cinco aviones al desierto de Estados Unidos. De esta manera, el Airbus A380 se retiraría oficialmente del mercado chino. La aerolínea más grande del país confirmó el desmantelamiento de sus dos últimos Superjumbos en su informe financiero del primer semestre (1S2023).

Actualmente, la aerolínea china cuenta actualmente con una flota de aviones de fuselaje ancho, incluidos Airbus A330-200 (10), A330-300 (26), A350-900 (18), Boeing 777-300ER (15), 787-8 (10) y 787-9 (17), lo que no supondrá una gran pérdida para rutas de alta densidad.
