LATAM Airlines ha anunciado el restablecimiento de dos rutas de larga distancia entre Sudamérica y África y Oceanía tras tres años de incursión por la crisis sanitaria mundial. La ruta São Pablo/GRU—Johannesburgo/JNB y Santiago de Chile/SCL—Melbourne/MEL, Australia. Además, la filial LATAM Airlines Perú enlazará la única ruta existente Lima/LIM—Londres/LHR.

LATAM Airlines Chile comenzó la ruta desde el Aeropuerto Internacional de Santiago de Chile hacia el Aeropuerto Internacional de Melbourne/Tullamarine reiniciando el 1 de Septiembre de 2023 con tres frecuencias semanales (3Frq/S), los Lunes, Miércoles y Viernes en aeronaves Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner con capacidad para 300 pasajeros. Este es la segunda ruta Australia, donde actualmente vuela diariamente desde Santiago hacia Auckland y Sydney. LATAM Airlines Brasil restablece los enlaces entre el Aeropuerto Internacional São Paulo/Guarulhos y el Aeropuerto Internacional de Johannesburgo/O.R. Tambo, en Sudáfrica. La ruta será operada con tres frecuencias semanales, Los lunes, Jueves y Sábados con aeronaves Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner con capacidad para 313 pasajeros. La aerolínea LATAM Airlines ha entrado en alianza con la aerolínea regional Airlink que permitirá conectar más de cuarenta destinos en el continente africano.

LATAM Airlines Perú conectará a partir del 2 de Diciembre de 2023 la ruta entre Lima/Jorge Chavez (LIM) y Londres/Heathrow (LHR) que contará con cinco vuelos semanales (5Frq/S), con aeronaves Boeing 767-300, permitiendo ser la única compañía que cubre la ruta de forma directa entre ambas capitales. La filial LATAM Brasil conecta actualmente São Paulo/Guarulhos con Londres/Heathrow sin escalas.

LATAM Airlines has announced the restoration of two long-distance routes between South America and Africa and Oceania after three years of incursion due to the global health crisis. The route São Pablo/GRU—Johannesburg/JNB and Santiago de Chile/SCL—Melbourne/MEL, Australia. In addition, the subsidiary LATAM Airlines Peru will link the only existing route Lima/LIM—London/LHR.

LATAM Airlines Chile began the route from the Santiago de Chile International Airport to the Melbourne/Tullamarine International Airport restarting on September 1, 2023 with three weekly frequencies (3Frq/S), Monday, Wednesday and Friday on Boeing 787- 9 Dreamliner with capacity for 300 passengers. The route will be operated with three weekly frequencies, Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays with Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft with capacity for 313 passengers. The airline LATAM Airlines has entered into an alliance with the regional airline Airlink that will connect more than forty destinations on the African continent.

LATAM Airlines Peru will connect the route between Lima/Jorge Chavez (LIM) and London/Heathrow (LHR) as of December 2, 2023, which will have five weekly flights (5Frq/S), with Boeing 767-300 aircraft, making it the only company that covers the route directly between both capitals. The LATAM Brasil affiliate currently connects São Paulo/Guarulhos with London/Heathrow non-stop.
