Acuerdo tentativo materiales aeronáuticos
Southwest Airlines y la International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT) llegaron a un acuerdo tentativo para los especialistas en materiales de la aerolínea.
“Nos complace llegar a un acuerdo tentativo con el IBT para nuestros especialistas en materiales que apoyan nuestra organización de operaciones técnicas al tener las herramientas y piezas adecuadas listas para mantener nuestras aeronaves. Aprecio que ambos equipos trabajen juntos para llegar a un acuerdo que recompense a nuestros empleados mucho antes de la fecha modificable para este contrato”, dijo Adam Carlisle, Vicepresidente de Relaciones Laborales de Southwest Airlines.
Este acuerdo cubre a los más de 480 especialistas en materiales de Southwest. El IBT se comunicará directamente con sus miembros sobre el acuerdo y el proceso de votación.

Tentative agreement aeronautical materials
Southwest Airlines and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT) have reached a tentative agreement for the airline’s materials specialists.
“We are pleased to reach a tentative agreement with the IBT for our materials specialists who support our technical operations organization by having the right tools and parts ready to maintain our aircraft. I appreciate both teams working together to reach an agreement that rewards our employees well in advance of the changeable date for this contract”, said Adam Carlisle, Vice President of Labor Relations for Southwest Airlines.
This agreement covers Southwest’s more than 480 materials specialists. The IBT will communicate directly with its members about the agreement and the voting process.
