Aerolíneas participan reunión aviación sostenible
Las aerolíneas participan en el Global Mobility Call para avanzar en soluciones de descarbonización en la aviación. La Asociación de Líneas Aérea (ALA) ha confirmado nuevamente su participación en el Global Mobility Call, que se celebrará del 24 al 26 de octubre en Ifema Madrid, para avanzar en soluciones que permitan acelerar la descarbonización del sector aéreo.
El Presidente de ALA, Javier Gándara, considera que Global Mobility Call es una gran oportunidad para intercambiar propuestas y visibilizar mejor el camino a seguir para avanzar en el propósito del sector, es decir, lograr las emisiones netas cero en 2050. Además, Gándara ha añadido que “la sostenibilidad es el principal reto presente y futuro de la aviación”, destacando que el sector está sumamente comprometido con alcanzar el objetivo y se ha marcado una hoja de ruta que “pasa por el uso de combustibles sostenibles (SAF), la propulsión por hidrógeno o el avión eléctrico, además de la optimización de la gestión del tráfico aéreo, entre otros”.
ALA aglutina el 85% del tráfico aéreo en España, incluyendo a las 10 aerolíneas con más tráfico. En 2019, las compañías asociadas transportaron a más de 230 millones de pasajeros en los aeropuertos de la red de AENA y operaron más de 1,2 millones de despegues y aterrizaje.

Airlines participate in the Global Mobility Call to advance decarbonization solutions in aviation. The Airline Association (ALA) has once again confirmed its participation in the Global Mobility Call, which will be held from October 24 to 26 at Ifema Madrid, to advance solutions that allow for accelerating the decarbonization of the aviation sector.
The President of ALA, Javier Gándara, believes that the Global Mobility Call is a great opportunity to exchange proposals and better visualize the way forward to advance the purpose of the sector, that is, to achieve net zero emissions by 2050. In addition, Gándara has added that “sustainability is the main present and future challenge of aviation”, highlighting that the sector is highly committed to achieving the objective and has set a roadmap that “goes through the use of sustainable fuels (SAF), the hydrogen propulsion or electric aircraft, in addition to the optimization of air traffic management, among others”.
ALA accounts for 85% of air traffic in Spain, including the 10 airlines with the most traffic. In 2019, the associated companies transported more than 230 million passengers to the airports of the AENA network and operated more than 1.2 million takeoffs and landings.
