Xiamen Airlines lanzará dos nuevas rutas a Qatar

Xiamen Airlines lanzará vuelos diarios entre el Aeropuerto internacional Daxing de Beijing y el Aeropuerto internacional Hamad de Doha, con su moderno avión Boeing 787-9. Qatar Airways, miembro de Oneworld, compartirá código con Xiamen Airlines, miembro de SkyTeam, en los vuelos de esta última entre China y Qatar. Esta es la primera vez que una aerolínea china operará vuelos sin escalas desde China a Qatar.

Los nuevos vuelos Beijing/PEK—Doha/DIA comenzarán el 20 de Octubre de 2023, llegarán a Doha a las 22.45 y saldrán a las 02.00, proporcionando a los pasajeros conexiones óptimas a mercados clave de la red global de Qatar Airways más allá de Doha, en Oriente Medio, África y Europa.

Además de los vuelos desde Beijing, Xiamen Airlines también lanzará dos vuelos semanales desde Xiamen a Doha. Los vuelos de Xiamen comenzarán el 31 de octubre y ofrecerán la misma conectividad fluida a la red de Qatar Airways que los vuelos de Beijing, llegando a Doha desde Xiamen a las 05:00 y saliendo por la tarde a las 19:30. Qatar Airways compartirá código en estos nuevos vuelos, lo que, según afirma, mejorará enormemente su presencia en China, contando actualmente con 31 frecuencias semanales a seis ciudades chinas. Qatar Airways también vuela dos veces al día a Hong Kong.

Los nuevos vuelos directos de Beijing a Doha serán operados por un Boeing 787-9 que presenta una configuración de dos clases para 287 pasajeros, con 30 asientos en clase ejecutiva y 257 asientos en clase económica. El servicio Xiamen-Doha, sin embargo, será operado por un Boeing 787-8, con capacidad para 237 pasajeros en tres clases: cuatro en primera clase, 18 en clase ejecutiva y 215 en clase económica.

Xiamen Airlines to launch two new routes to Qatar

Xiamen Airlines will launch daily flights between Beijing Daxing International Airport and Doha Hamad International Airport, using its modern Boeing 787-9 aircraft. Oneworld member Qatar Airways will codeshare with SkyTeam member Xiamen Airlines on the latter’s flights between China and Qatar. This is the first time that a Chinese airline will operate non-stop flights from China to Qatar.

The new Beijing/PEK—Doha/DIA flights will begin on October 20, 2023, arriving in Doha at 22:45 and departing at 02:00, providing passengers with optimal connections to key markets in the Qatar Airways global network beyond Doha, in the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.

In addition to flights from Beijing, Xiamen Airlines will also launch two weekly flights from Xiamen to Doha. Flights from Xiamen will begin on 31 October and will offer the same seamless connectivity to the Qatar Airways network as flights from Beijing, arriving in Doha from Xiamen at 05:00 and departing in the afternoon at 19:30. Qatar Airways will codeshare on these new flights, which it says will greatly improve its presence in China, currently having 31 weekly frequencies to six Chinese cities. Qatar Airways also flies twice daily to Hong Kong.

The new direct flights from Beijing to Doha will be operated by a Boeing 787-9 featuring a two-class configuration for 287 passengers, with 30 business class seats and 257 economy class seats. The Xiamen-Doha service, however, will be operated by a Boeing 787-8, with a capacity for 237 passengers in three classes: four in first class, 18 in business class, and 215 in economy class.
