Bruselas Airlines incorpora décimo Airbus A330
Bruselas Airlines se está preparando para reforzar su flota de larga distancia con el regreso de su décimo Airbus A330-300 a la flota. El décimo avión entrará en funcionamiento en el verano de 2024, lo que le permitirá lanzar más vuelos a África, una especialidad de Bruselas Airlines, y el avión adicional les permitirá relanzar la ruta Bruselas-Nairobi. Marca el regreso del par de rutas, que se operó por última vez entre 2002 y 2015.

Durante el invierno, se añadirá a la planificación un vuelo directo adicional a Dakar y una rotación adicional a Banjul—Conakry y Monrovia—Freetown. Los vuelos de ida saldrán de Bruselas por la mañana y llegarán a Nairobi por la tarde. Los vuelos entrantes saldrán de Nairobi por la tarde y llegarán a Bruselas por la mañana.

Brussels Airlines incorporates tenth Airbus A330
Brussels Airlines is preparing to strengthen its long-haul fleet with the return of its tenth Airbus A330-300 to the fleet. The tenth aircraft will come into operation in the summer of 2024, allowing it to launch more flights to Africa, a specialty of Brussels Airlines, and the additional aircraft will allow them to relaunch the Brussels-Nairobi route. It marks the return of the route pair, which was last operated between 2002 and 2015.
The new long-haul aircraft will allow the airline to increase the frequency of flights to Kigali (Rwanda) up to one daily connection. To crew this A330, around 60 pilots and cabin crew will be hired, in addition to ground staff.
The first flight is scheduled for June 2024. It will operate six days a week during daylight saving time. In the winter schedule, the route will run four times a week. During the winter, an additional direct flight to Dakar and an additional rotation to Banjul—Conakry and Monrovia—Freetown will be added to the schedule. Outbound flights will depart Brussels in the morning and arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon. Incoming flights will depart Nairobi in the afternoon and arrive in Brussels in the morning.
