Nuevo lanzamiento transatlántico Boston-Amsterdam

JetBlue Airways ha lanzado su segunda ruta transatlántica a los Países Bajos, con un servicio entre Boston y Ámsterdam. La ruta Boston/BOS—Amsterdam/AMS desarrollará una frecuencia diaria (1Frq/D). Vuelos salen del Aeropuerto Logan de Boston a las 22:13, llegando a Amsterdam/Schiphol a las 09:35 [+1] del día siguiente, partiendo a las 11:35 de territorio neerlandés y aterrizar en Boston a las 14:00 horas. La ruta está siendo operada por aviones JetBlue A321 LR, configurados con 114 asientos en Clase Economy y 24 en Clase Mint Suites.

El servicio diario se une a los vuelos de la aerolínea entre Nueva York/JFK y Amsterdam/Schiphol/AMS, que se lanzó el 29 de Agosto de 2023.

JetBlue Airways había estado tratando de obtener espacios en Schiphol durante algún tiempo debido a las limitaciones impuesta por el Gobierno en cuestiones medio-ambientales y de slots, antes de finalmente obtener el visto bueno a principios de este año 2023.

La aerolínea estadounidense competirá con las aerolíneas Delta Air Lines y KLM Airlines miembros de Skyteam en la ruta Boston—Amsterdam. JetBlue también sirve a los aeropuertos londinenses de Gatwick y Heathrow desde Boston, y agregará vuelos desde el aeropuerto a París en 2024.

JetBlue Airways has launched its second transatlantic route to the Netherlands, with a service between Boston and Amsterdam. The Boston/BOS—Amsterdam/AMS route will develop a daily frequency (1frq/d). Flights leave Boston’s Logan Airport at 22:13, arriving at Amsterdam/Schiphol at 09:35 [+1] the next day, starting at 11:35 of Dutch territory and landing in Boston at 02:00 p.m. The route is being operated by JetBlue A321 LR aircraft, configured with 114 seats in Economy Class and 24 in Mint Suites Class.

The daily service joins the airline flights between New York/JFK and Amsterdam/Schiphol/AMS, which was launched on August 29, 2023.

JetBlue Airways had been trying to obtain spaces in Schiphol for some time due to the limitations imposed by the government in medium-environmental and slots matters, before finally obtaining the approval earlier this year 2023.

The US airline will compete with the Air Lines and KLM Airlines members of Skyteam on the Boston—Amsterdam route. JetBlue also serves the London airports of Gatwick and Heathrow from Boston and will add flights from the airport to Paris in 2024.
