Embraer E190-E2 y E195-E2 obtienen certificación de tipo en Singapur
Los modelos Embraer E190-E2 y E195-E2 han obtenido la certificación de tipo de la Autoridad de Aviación Civil de Singapur (CAAS), representando un avance significativo en la ampliación de mercados a través del mundo. Los nuevos aviones de segunda generación de la compañía brasileña han alcanzado la certificación industrial tipo en el país asiático, poniendo su producto en mejor posición para aerolíneas como Singapore Airlines, entre otras.
“Acogemos con satisfacción la certificación de tipo del E190-E2 y el E195-E2 y agradecemos a la CAAS su exhaustiva evaluación”, dijo Raúl Villarón, Vicepresidente y Jefe de la Región Asia-Pacífico de Embraer Commercial Aviation.
La familia Embraer E-Jets que componen los modelos E190-E2 y E195-E2 fueron certificados actualmente por tres autoridades clave de aviación civil: la Agencia Nacional de Aviación Civil (ANAC) de Brasil, la Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) de Estados Unidos, la European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) y la Comunidad Europea.
Producto de la nueva certificación tipo, se espera que el E190-E2 inicie operaciones en Singapur con la aerolínea Scoot Airlines, filial de bajo coste de Singapore Airlines, a partir de 2024.
“La certificación de los E190-E2 y E195-E2 por la Autoridad de Aviación Civil de Singapur marca un hito importante para Scoot. Como primera aerolínea singapurense en operar los E2, esperamos mejorar la conectividad en Asia y el desarrollo de Singapur como centro neurálgico para los viajes regionales”, comentó Leslie Thng, Consejero Delegado de Scoot Airlines.

Embraer E190-E2 and E195-E2 obtain type certification in Singapore
The Embraer E190-E2 and E195-E2 models have obtained type certification from the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), representing a significant advance in expanding markets throughout the world. The Brazilian company’s new second-generation aircraft have achieved industrial-type certification in the Asian country, putting its product in a better position for airlines such as Singapore Airlines, among others.
“We welcome the type certification of the E190-E2 and E195-E2 and thank the CAAS for its comprehensive evaluation”, said Raúl Villarón, Vice President and Head of the Asia-Pacific Region of Embraer Commercial Aviation.
The Embraer E-Jets family that make up the E190-E2 and E195-E2 models were currently certified by three key civil aviation authorities: the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) of Brazil, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) of the United States, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the European Community.
As a result of the new type of certification, the E190-E2 is expected to begin operations in Singapore with Scoot Airlines, a low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, in 2024.
“The certification of the E190-E2 and E195-E2 by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore marks an important milestone for Scoot. As the first Singaporean airline to operate the E2, we look forward to enhancing connectivity in Asia and developing Singapore as a hub. for regional travel”, said Leslie Thng, CEO of Scoot Airlines.
