Firman memorando de entendimiento de cooperación estratégica

Riyadh Air y Saudia Airlines, las aerolíneas nacionales de bandera del Reino de Arabia Saudita, firmaron un Memorando de Entendimiento de Cooperación Estratégica (SCMoU) como parte de un acuerdo en expansión para incluir vuelos de código compartido, marcando un hito significativo de fortaleza colaborativa en el ecosistema de la aviación de Arabia Saudita. Riyadh Air and Saudia Airlines, the national flag carriers of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, signed a Strategic Cooperation Memorandum of Understanding (SCMoU) as part of an expanding agreement to include codeshare flights, marking a significant milestone of collaborative strength in Saudi Arabia’s aviation ecosystem. The Memorandum of Understanding is the first major agreement between the two airlines and is expected to lay the foundation for future cooperation.

In addition to boosting the entire Saudi aviation ecosystem, the agreement aims to provide a comprehensive set of benefits for visitors to Saudi Arabia and those traveling within the Kingdom. Passengers of both airlines will be able to fully utilize each airline’s global network as part of the agreement, thanks to a comprehensive interline and codeshare agreement that allows guests to travel seamlessly between sectors operated by Saudia or Riyadh Air. Members of each operator’s loyalty program will be able to earn points or credits for using codeshare services provided by the other. This will be followed by a more comprehensive loyalty agreement where guests will be able to earn or redeem points and earn elite-level benefits across both airlines’ global networks.

This strategic cooperation commits Saudia Airlines and Riyadh Air, as the Kingdom’s national airlines, to work together and implement broader synergies and efficiencies across the value chain in areas such as business development, digital, aviation support services, and cargo/logistics. The strategic agreement also aims to optimize routes and resources to offer guests a broader range of destinations and services in the long term.
