Arabia Saudita negocia con Gobierno Uruguay nueva aerolínea

En los medios de comunicación del Reino de Arabia Saudita informaron que Uruguay presentó una propuesta a la Autoridad General de Aviación Civil (GACA) para el desarrollo de una aerolínea regional en Uruguay, en colaboración con las aerolíneas nacionales del reino saudita. Según el portal informativo Al Arabiya Business, el Estado uruguayo ha presentado una solicitud a la Autoridad General Saudita de Aviación Civil para el desarrollo conjunto entre el Gobierno uruguayo y el sector privado de aviación saudí.

La propuesta incluye el establecimiento de una aerolínea denominada Saudi Uruguay Airlines con sede en Montevideo, Uruguay, para formar parte del grupo Saudi Airlines. La propuesta presentada por Uruguay incluye información sobre la estructura jurídica de la empresa, su plan operativo y la flota de aviones. La estructura de la nueva startup estaría conformada por el Gobierno de Uruguay con el 40% de participación accionaria y el 60% de la inversión privada saudita.

Anteriormente, meses atrás al Goberno uruguayo había presentado una propuesta de crear una nueva aerolínea uruguaya, una iniciativa bajo la denominación de Sociedad Uruguaya de Aviación (SUA).

The media of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia reported that Uruguay presented a proposal to the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) for the development of a regional airline in Uruguay, in collaboration with the national airlines of the Saudi Kingdom. According to the Al Arabiya Business information portal, the Uruguayan State has submitted a request to the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation for joint development between the Uruguayan Government and the private Saudi aviation sector.

The proposal includes the establishment of an airline called Saudi Uruguay Airlines based in Montevideo, Uruguay, to be part of the Saudi Airlines group. The proposal presented by Uruguay includes information on the company’s legal structure, its operational plan, and the aircraft fleet. The structure of the new startup would be made up of the Government of Uruguay with 40% shareholding and 60% Saudi private investment.

Previously, months ago, the Uruguayan Government had presented a proposal to create a new Uruguayan airline, an initiative under the name of Sociedad Uruguaya de Aviación (SUA).
