El 3 de julio de 1988, un Airbus A300, vuelo IR655, de la aerolínea IranAir con 290 personas abordo realizaba la ruta de Irán a Dubái, fue derribado por el USS Vincennes de la Armada de EE.UU. en aguas del Golfo Pérsico por error.

Los familiares depositaron flores en aguas del Golfo Pérsico en recuerdo de las 290 víctimas que murieron en un ataque de EE.UU. al avión en que viajaban. En el evento que se realizó en las cercanías del estrecho de Ormuz y la isla de Larek, participaron familiares de los mártires y funcionarios iraníes.

Estados Unidos nunca pidió perdón a los familiares afectados por lo que había hecho su flota lanzamisiles y justificó que sus militares habían confundido la aeronave con un avión de combate Tomcat F-14.

Un vuelo de SkyWest Airlines, subsidiaria de United Airlines aterrizó con un motor en llamas en el Aeropuerto de Denver, EE.UU.

El vuelo UA5869 de SkyWest Airlines despegó del Aeropuerto Aspen/Pitkin, Colorado a la 13:45 (hora local) y aterrizó a las 14:20 en Denver, en el mismo Estado. El avión, un Bombardier CRJ-700 ha aterrizado en el Aeropuerto Internacional de Denver con inicio de llama en un motor (izquierdo).

Según el pasajero que subió las dramáticas fotos y grabó un video después de la evacuación, nadie resultó herido. El testigo del accidente aseguró que los bomberos fueron rápidos en responder a la situación de emergencia. Las fotos publicadas en Twitter muestran un motor en la parte trasera del avión en llamas y los pasajeros siendo evacuados. “Respuesta rápida e inmediata. Un grupo de servicio de emergencia [presente] en la pista de aterrizaje. Muchas gracias al piloto y la tripulación por ayudar a que los pasajeros salgan del avión a salvo”, reza su mensaje en Twitter.

La aerolínea regional no se ha pronunciado al respecto sobre este incuidente. SkyWest Airlines es una aerolínea regional al servicio de United Airlines, y mantiene una red de conexión de 200 ciudades en Estados Unidos,incluyendo destinos internacionales en Canadá, México y el Caribe.

Las implicancias de la tragedia aérea del Malaysia Airlines MH17 permiten sostener por parte de Rusia que EE.UU. no le conviene revelar la verdad sobre el vuelo MH17

EE.UU. no desvelará lo que pasó con el vuelo MH17 en Ucrania, porque probablemente desmentiría la acusación contra los independentistas de Donbás, opina Putin.

Estas accusaciones por parte de Rusia son parte de las diferencias diplomáticas entre Rusia y EE.UU. que se han asentuado la invasión por parte de los rusos en Crimea y la tragedia del MH17. Paradójicamente, esta última tragedia hace eco en lo que ocurrió hace casi 29 años cuando EE.UU. derribó «por error» un Airbus A300, vuelo 655 de IranAir en el Golfo Pérsico, falleciendo todos sus ocupantes.

Las implicancias de «Occidente»

A lo largo de los últimos dos años, el director de cine estadounidense Oliver Stone ha pasado 19 horas con el presidente ruso, Vladimir Putin, para preparar cuatro entregas con las diferentes conversaciones que mantuvieron.

En una parte de la conversación el cineasta expresó la seguridad de que los servicios de inteligencia de EE.UU. controlaban la situación en Ucrania tras el golpe de Estado en 2014. En este contexto, le preguntó a Putin si cree que la entidad estadounidense posee datos sobre la caída de MH17.

«Por supuesto, ellos (EE.UU.) querían culpar (de lo sucedido) a los milicianos de Donbás y de forma indirecta a Rusia. (…) Si esta información contradice esto, nunca la van a revelar», respondió el presidente ruso.

Cabe recordar que el avión de pasajeros Boeing 777-200 de Malaysia Airlines, que cubría la ruta entre Ámsterdam (Holanda) y Kuala Lumpur (Malasia), se estrelló el 17 de julio de 2014 en el sureste de Ucrania con 298 personas a bordo, dando pie a acusaciones del bloque occidental contra los combatientes independentistas y a la imposición de sanciones contra Rusia. Sin embargo, basándose en datos de radares, el Kremlin descartó que los independentistas de Donbás lanzaran un misil para derribar el vuelo.

Un avión de KLM Cityhopper  el sábado volvió a Schiphol con un problema. El Fokker 70 se dirigía a Billund en Dinamarca.

Un Boeing 737 de Aeroméxico colisiona con camión de catering en Los Ángeles; seis heridos

Un Boeing 737-800 de Aeroméxico, matrícula XA-AML, procedente de la Ciudad de México con vuelo AM642, produjo un incidente contra un camión de catering durante el rodaje en el Aeropuerto Internacional de Los Ángeles (LAX) en la tarde de este sábado 20 de mayo.

Según el comunicado de la compañía aérea mexicana, Aeroméxico, comunicó: «Durante el carreteo a la pocisión de contacto, golpeó un vehículo de servicio con la punta de la semiala derecha en el Aeropuerto internacional de Los Ángeles, provocando su volcadura. No se presentaron lesiones en los pasajeros ni tripulantes, sin embargo ocupantes del vehículo de servicio fueron trasladados para su valoración médica».

Los lesionados iban a bordo del camión, que circulaba sobre la pista de aterrizaje. Algunos de los lesionados fueron atendidos en el lugar; minutos después el portavoz del Departamento de Bomberos, Brian Humphrey confirmó a una persona grave.

Aviones de combate escoltaron vuelo AA031 de American tras incidente en la cabina

Dos aviones militares de combate escoltaron esta tarde a un avión comercial de American Airlines con destino a Honolulu, luego de que aparentemente un hombre intentara entrar en la cabina del piloto.

“Dos aviones F-22 Raptors del Comando del Pacífico de la Guardia Nacional Aérea de Hawaii reaccionaron esta mañana en respuesta a una perturbación reportada en un avión civil que se aproximaba al Aeropuerto Internacional de Honolulu”, relató el comandante de la Marina estadounidense Dave Benham en una declaración por correo electrónico a CNBC.

Según el portavoz del Comando del Pacífico, los aviones de combate «escoltaron al avión de pasajeros hasta el aeropuerto, de acuerdo con los procedimientos de defensa del país”, respondió la policía local una vez que el avión civil ya estaba en tierra.

“Debido a un incidente durante el vuelo, la tripulación pidió que la policía abordara el avión al aterrizar en Honolulu”, comunicó por su parte American Airlines, desde donde aseguraron que continúan en contacto con la policía federal.

La aerolínea relató que el Airbus A321 que realiza su vuelo AA031 procedente de Los Ángeles aterrizó sin problemas en el Aeropuerto Internacional de Honolulu a las 11:35 am, hora local.
