Copa Airlines inaugurará destino Tulum, México

Copa Airlines inaugurará a partir del 26 de Junio de 2024, conectando Panamá con Tulum, ubicada en el estado mexicano de Quintana Roo, permitirá acceder a un nuevo destino turístico ubicado al sur de Quintana Roo entre la Riviera Maya y Bacalar, a orillas del Mar Caribe. Desde el Hub de las Américas en Panamá se podrá acceder al nuevo Aeropuerto Tulum (TQO), oficialmente Aeropuerto Internacional Felipe Carrillo Puerto, ubicado a 20 kilómetros al suroeste de Tulum.​​ El aeropuerto fue inaugurado el 1 de Diciembre de 2023.​​ La aerolínea panameña Copa Airlines inaugurará una ruta que será la sexta en México.

El mismo es conocido por su diversidad de experiencias a disfrutar como de la vibrante oferta arqueológica, cultural y espiritual que este enigmático destino ofrece, parques ecoturísticos, cenotes, arte, gastronomía, reservas naturales y como valor agregado, los destinos de Mahaual, Bacalar y Chetumal llenos de atractivos y experiencias

El Gerente General para Mercosur de Copa Airlines, Christian Rodríguez, sostuvo: “Seguimos firmes con nuestro propósito de acortar distancias y facilitar conexiones para nuestros pasajeros, permitiendo que Panamá siga siendo el puente que une a miles de personas en todo el continente, al tiempo que contribuimos con el desarrollo económico de las comunidades en donde operamos”. Además, afirmó que esta expansión estratégica no solo promueve el intercambio cultural de la región, sino también promueve y profundiza el turismo y los negocios con México.

Copa Airlines will inaugurate on June 26, 2024, connecting Panama with Tulum, located in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo, it will allow access to a new tourist destination located south of Quintana Roo between the Riviera Maya and Bacalar, on the shores of the Sea Caribbean. From the Hub of the Americas in Panama, you can access the new Tulum Airport (TQO), officially Felipe Carrillo Puerto International Airport, located 20 kilometers southwest of Tulum.​​ The airport was inaugurated on December 1, 2023.​​
