Embraer E190-E2 estrena vuelos en el sudeste asiático

Scoot Airlines ha inaugurado su primer vuelo con aeroinaves Embraer E190-E2 el Martes 7 de mayo de 2024. Los aviones se hicieron cargo del primer vuelo comercial de la aerolínea de Singapur, entre el Aeropuerto Singapur/Changi (SIN) y Krabi (KBV), Tailandia. También, el Embraer E190-E2 completó su primer vuelo comercial en el sudeste asiático. Scoot, una aerolínea de bajo costo vinculada a Singapore Airlines, estrenó los servicios aéreos con la nueva aeronave de industria brasileña. Los E190-E2 de Scoot están configurados con 112 asientos y un espacio entre filas de 29 pulgadas.

Scoot Airlines firmó un contrato de arrendamiento de nueve (9) E190-E2 con el lessor Azorra Aviation en 2023. Actualmente, poseen dos aviones en Singapur, el 9V-THA bautuzado Explorer 3.0 con el que realizó el vuelo inaugural, y el 9V-THB ddenominado Small Yella Fella, que se entregó a finales de Abril 2024. Según la aerolínea singapureña, el segundo avión se encuentra en la fase final de preparación para las operaciones y pronto debería unirse al primer E190-E2.

Embraer afirmó que el nuevo avión de Scoot permitirá ampliar las frecuencias a Krabi y Hat Yai, en Tailandia, de siete a diez vuelos semanales.

Estamos orgullosos de ver que el avión E2 moderno y de bajo consumo de combustible adorna los cielos de Singapur y el sudeste asiático y nos gustaría agradecer a todas las partes interesadas involucradas que trabajaron incansablemente para hacer esto posible», dijo Martyn Holmes, Director Comercial de Embraer Commercial Aviation.

El constructor brasileño Embraer espera entrtegar también en 2024 los primeros E195-E2 de la aerolínea malaya SKS Airways, ampliando la presencia de la nueva generación de aviones en la región.

Scoot Airlines has inaugurated its first flight with Embraer E190-E2 aircraft on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. The aircraft took over the Singapore airline’s first commercial flight, between Singapore/Changi Airport (SIN) and Krabi (KBV), Thailand. Also, the Embraer E190-E2 completed its first commercial flight in Southeast Asia. Scoot, a low-cost airline linked to Singapore Airlines, launched air services with the new Brazilian industry aircraft. Scoot’s E190-E2 are configured with 112 seats and a row spacing of 29 inches.

Scoot Airlines signed a lease contract for nine (9) E190-E2s with the lessor Azorra Aviation in 2023. Currently, they have two aircraft in Singapore, the 9V-THA named Explorer 3.0 with which it made its maiden flight, and the 9V- THB named Small Yella Fella, which was delivered at the end of April 2024. According to the Singapore airline, the second aircraft is in the final phase of preparation for operations and should soon join the first E190-E2.

Embraer stated that the new Scoot aircraft will allow it to expand frequencies to Krabi and Hat Yai, in Thailand, from seven to ten flights per week.

The Brazilian manufacturer Embraer also hopes to deliver the first E195-E2 of the Malaysian airline SKS Airways in 2024, expanding the presence of the new generation of aircraft in the region.
