Intercargo y Aerolíneas fusionarían servicios para optimizar recursos

Intercargo y Aerolíneas Argentinas anunciaron la integración de los servicios de handling para optimizar recursos en el grupo. En un contexto político de elevada temperatura tras la salida del Nicolás Posse como Jefe de Gabinete, cargo que ahora ocupa Guillermo Francos, durante el día Martes 28 de Mayo de 2024 se realizó una reunión en la órbita de la Secretaria de Transporte con el sector aeronáutico. En línea con el concepto gubernamental de optimización de los recursos estatales confirmamos que en el sector aeronáutico se viene trabajando para unificar los servicios de rampa que actualmente prestan Intercargo y Aerolíneas Argentinas con su filial Aerohandling.

El proyecto iniciado contemplaría una fusión de ambas empresas con el fin de reducir estructuras duplicadas y hacer un traspaso de personal, para en el tiempo unificar todo en Intercargo. De este modo la empresa de handling argentino superavitaria en Dólares, que funciona con un sistema de subsidios cruzados, tendría que ampliar considerablemente su operación domestica para atender los vuelos de Aerolíneas Argentinas.

La modificación de la estructura de las compañías del Grupo Aerolíneas modifica el panorama del mercado aéreo argentino en otras líneas aéreas., entre ellas, Flybondi Líneas Aéreas que ha iniciado los trámites para que la aérea low cost deje el servicio de rampa que le brinda Intercargo y se autogestione en el Aeropuerto Buenos Aires/Jorge Newbery, tal como lo realiza en el Aeropuerto Ezeiza y la mayoría de las terminales aéreas donde opera.
