Vuelos inmigrantes ilegales punto mira al Gobierno

Los vuelos para inmigrantes ilegales sin identificación están en el punto de mira del proyecto de ley de la Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) de Estados Unidos a medida que se acerca la fecha límite. La Administración de Seguridad en el Transporte (TSA) se enfrenta a un nuevo escrutinio sobre los inmigrantes ilegales que viajan en avión por todo Estados Unidos sin la identificación adecuada, pues el Congreso busca aprobar la reautorización de la Administración Federal de Aviación antes de la fecha límite del 10 de Mayo de 2024. Dos senadores republicanos en particular han tratado de abordar las normas laxas de la TSA para los inmigrantes ilegales que ingresan a Estados Unidos y luego vuelan por todo el país. Los dos senadores firmaron una carta a sus colegas el Lunes 06/05, explicando que es un deber del Congreso abordar la crisis de inmigración, y que el proyecto de ley de la FAA es «probablemente nuestra última oportunidad de hacerlo este año». Si bien el año está lejos de terminar, el Congreso ha aprobado casi todas las reautorizaciones necesarias para el tiempo. Además, se espera que el Senado esté en receso durante una parte significativa del otoño, ya que se acercan varias elecciones competitivas en Noviembre.

Un miembro del personal del Senado con conocimiento de las discusiones expresó que los senadores no han llegado a un acuerdo sobre el tiempo, lo que deja en el limbo la esperanza de aprobar el proyecto de ley de la FAA. No está claro si la enmienda de Mike Lee será sometida a votación, pues el líder de la mayoría, Chuck Schumer, Demócrata por Nueva York, tiende a no permitir que las enmiendas se presenten en orden regular, optando en su lugar por un árbol de enmiendas precargado con enmiendas predesignadas para su consideración.

A medida que continúa la crisis fronteriza, los migrantes han sido vistos en grandes cantidades en los aeropuertos de todo el país, por lo que la acción de aprobar la nueva ley de la FAA permitiría regularizar las inmigraciones masivas en Estados Unidos.

Acusaciones a Administración Biden

«Los datos del Departamento de Seguridad Nacional (DHS) revelan las más de 45 ciudades de los Estados Unidos a las que cientos de miles de migrantes han volado a través de un controvertido programa de libertad condicional para cuatro nacionalidades, y la gran mayoría ingresa a los EE.UU. a través de aeropuertos en Florida.

El DHS también reveló en la respuesta a la citación que, a partir de Octubre de 2023, había alrededor de 1.6 millones de solicitantes esperando la aprobación del DHS para volar a los EE.UU. a través del programa de libertad condicional. El DHS dijo en su respuesta a la citación: «Todas las personas en libertad condicional en los Estados Unidos son, por definición, inadmisibles, incluidas las que obtuvieron la libertad condicional bajo los procesos de CHNV».

Crisis fronteriza

Flights for illegal immigrants without identification are in the crosshairs of the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) bill as the deadline approaches. The two senators signed a letter to their colleagues on Monday 05/06, explaining that it is Congress’ duty to address the immigration crisis and that the FAA bill is «probably our last chance to do so this year». While the year is far from over, Congress has passed almost all of the reauthorizations needed for the time. Additionally, the Senate is expected to be in recess for a significant portion of the fall as several competitive elections approach in November.

A Senate staffer with knowledge of the discussions said senators have not come to an agreement on timing, leaving hopes of passing the FAA bill in limbo. It is unclear whether Mike Lee’s amendment will be put to a vote, as Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., tends not to allow amendments to be presented in regular order, opting instead for a tree of amendments pre-loaded with pre-designated amendments for your consideration.

As the border crisis continues, migrants have been seen in large numbers at airports across the country, so the action of approving the new FAA law would allow mass immigration to the United States to be regularized.

Border crisis

Paro afectará transporte aéreo

El paro general de la CGT (Confederación General del Trabajo) se lleva a cabo el Jueves 9 de Mayo de 2024 en la República Argentina. Se trata de la segunda huelga que la central obrera realiza durante el Gobierno de Javier Milei. En esa jornada del día Jueves 09/05, muchos servicios no funcionarán, como es el caso del transporte aéreo, ferroviaria, bus. Se espera que haya cancelaciones o reprogramaciones en distintas compañías aéreas.

En los últimos días, la Asociación Pilotos de Líneas Aéreas (APLA) ratificó su participación en la convocatoria obrera. Por lo tanto, los pilotos afiliados al gremio no volarán durante el Jueves 9 de Mayo de 2024. La Asociación del Personal Aeronáutico (APA) y la Unión del Personal Superior y Profesional de Empresas Aerocomerciales (UPSA) se suman a la medida de fuerza. Además, Aerolíneas Argentinas confirmó que no se realizarán vuelos esa fecha. Las operaciones de Intercargo ― que se ocupa de los servicios de asistencia en tierra para los aviones― se verá afectada por la protesta. La Asociación Técnicos y Empleados de Protección y Seguridad a la Aeronavegación (Atepsa) ―que nuclea a los trabajadores del servicio de tráfico aéreo― también se pliega a la protesta convocada por la CGT, pero no frena sus operaciones las 24 horas que están estipuladas para la huelga al ser un servicio esencial.

Esta situación obliga a la mayoría de las aerolíneas a reprogramar o cancelar sus vuelos tanto nacionales como internacionales. Las operaciones en el principal aeropuerto doméstico de Argentina, Buenos Aires/Jorge Newbery (AEP) estará totalmente sin operaciones, como el resto de las aeroestaciones del país; mientras que el Aeropuerto Ezeiza tendrá algunos vuelos de American Airlines y de Flybondi Líneas Aéreas. Respecto de Flybondi específicamente, desde la empresa informaron que trasladarán toda su operación a Ezeiza para garantizar la salida de aviones. Asimismo, recomiendan a sus pasajeros chequear el estado del vuelo en el sitio web oficial, en la sección “Mi Reserva”. JetSMART Airlines Argentina informó a sus clientes que tienen programado sus vuelos para esa fecha pueden cambiar de día sin costo. Así lo indica un comunicado que emitió la compañía el Domingo 5 de Mayo de 2024 y ofreció un link para que se puedan hacer estas modificaciones.

Por su parte, AirEuropa advirtió sobre cancelaciones de los vuelos que estaban programados para el 09/05. La empresa española aclaró que se trata de una medida por causas ajenas relacionadas con la huelga general.

Por el momento, otras compañías aéreas no se pronunciaron sobre los efectos que puede provocar el paro general en sus servicios. Antes de tomar algún vuelo el 9 de Mayo de 2024, se sugiere revisar el estado del vuelo para cerciorarse de que no sea cancelado. Esto se puede hacer unas 24 horas antes del horario de partida. Para chequear esta información, uno debe ingresar a la página oficial de la compañía aérea o en el website de Aeropuertos Argentina 2000.

Se espera que a partir de las primeras horas del Viernes 10 de Mayo de 2024, al finalizar el paro general, se retomen los servicios de los vuelos de las líneas aéreas en Argentina.

Embraer E190-E2 estrena vuelos en el sudeste asiático

Scoot Airlines ha inaugurado su primer vuelo con aeroinaves Embraer E190-E2 el Martes 7 de mayo de 2024. Los aviones se hicieron cargo del primer vuelo comercial de la aerolínea de Singapur, entre el Aeropuerto Singapur/Changi (SIN) y Krabi (KBV), Tailandia. También, el Embraer E190-E2 completó su primer vuelo comercial en el sudeste asiático. Scoot, una aerolínea de bajo costo vinculada a Singapore Airlines, estrenó los servicios aéreos con la nueva aeronave de industria brasileña. Los E190-E2 de Scoot están configurados con 112 asientos y un espacio entre filas de 29 pulgadas.

Scoot Airlines firmó un contrato de arrendamiento de nueve (9) E190-E2 con el lessor Azorra Aviation en 2023. Actualmente, poseen dos aviones en Singapur, el 9V-THA bautuzado Explorer 3.0 con el que realizó el vuelo inaugural, y el 9V-THB ddenominado Small Yella Fella, que se entregó a finales de Abril 2024. Según la aerolínea singapureña, el segundo avión se encuentra en la fase final de preparación para las operaciones y pronto debería unirse al primer E190-E2.

Embraer afirmó que el nuevo avión de Scoot permitirá ampliar las frecuencias a Krabi y Hat Yai, en Tailandia, de siete a diez vuelos semanales.

«Nos gustaría felicitar a Scoot en esta ocasión trascendental. Estamos orgullosos de ver que el avión E2 moderno y de bajo consumo de combustible adorna los cielos de Singapur y el sudeste asiático y nos gustaría agradecer a todas las partes interesadas involucradas que trabajaron incansablemente para hacer esto posible», dijo Martyn Holmes, Director Comercial de Embraer Commercial Aviation.

El constructor brasileño Embraer espera entrtegar también en 2024 los primeros E195-E2 de la aerolínea malaya SKS Airways, ampliando la presencia de la nueva generación de aviones en la región.

Asambleas contra el Gobierno Argentina complican vuelos

Aerolíneas Argnetinas mantiene una Asamblea el Lunes 06/05, entre las 08:00 y las 11:00 horas contra el Gobierno de Argentina en distintos sectores del Transporte. El Secretario General de APTA (Asociación del Personal Técnico Aeronáutico), Ricardo Cirielli, también se había mostrado muy crítico con los legisladores que votaron a favor de la sanción de la Ley Bases que impulsa el gobierno de Javier Milei. “Hicieron un doble juego con el DNU, han dejado sin efecto la ley de política aerocomercial, la 19.030, los puntos que obligaban al Estado nacional a financiar a la línea argentina de bandera, abrieron los cielos en las nueve libertades del aire, lo que significa que pueden venir aviones chilenos con matrícula chilena y tripulación chilena, de tal manera que no va a ser viable ni Aerolíneas ni ninguna otra empresa nacional y hay un silencio pasmoso de todos. De los 109 diputados que votaron en contra solamente dos, un chaqueño y Julia Strada hicieron una defensa de Aerolíneas”.

Vamos a hacer todo lo posible para defender Aerolíneas Argentinas, para que entiendan que este Gobierno está vaciando el país. Abrir los cielos en la parte aeronáutica, es como abrir la importación, porque van a venir empresas extranjeras que se van a llevar los pasajeros y los Dólares”, concluyó.

La Asociación Trabajadores del Estado (ATE) se suma a la jornada de lucha que afectará, de alguna manera, los vuelos en veinticuatro aeropuertos de todo el país. Es en rechazo a la media sanción de la Ley Bases, que tuvo lugar la semana pasada en Diputados y que, según denuncian desde los gremios, pone en riesgo el normal funcionamiento de la Administración Nacional de Aviación Civil (ANAC).

Ley de Bases posibilitará la privatización de Aerolíneas Argentinas

La Ley de Bases impulsada por el actual Gobierno de Argentina ha obtenido media sanción y los capítulos aprobados por la Cámara de Diputados habilitó la posibilidad de privatizar la línea aérea entre otras empresas nacionales.

La posible privatización de Aerolíneas Argentinas e Intercargo ha generado una ola de preocupación entre el personal aeronáutico y diversos sectores de la sociedad. Pablo Armanino, Pro-secretario del Interior de la Asociación del Personal Aeronáutico (APA), ha advertido sobre las graves consecuencias que esta medida podría acarrear, especialmente para quince provincias que podrían quedar sin conexiones aéreas.

Desde el sector aeronáutico se han encendido las voces de reclamos. En el caso del Pro-secretario del Interior de la Asociación de Personal Aeronáutico ha explicado que «estamos en una permanente lucha, ya que van a desconectar por lo menos a 15 provincias». Entre los destinos afectados se encuentran provincias donde Aerolíneas Argentinas es la única opción de transporte aéreo, facilitando el traslado de suministros médicos vitales y servicios esenciales. Armanino cuestionó si el mercado privado tendría interés en mantener estas rutas deficitarias y si las empresas de bajo costo llegarían a destinos menos rentables. Las provincias que podrían quedar sin servicios están: Formosa, Chaco, La Rioja, Catamarca.

El Pro-secretario enfatiza: «Esta empresa le genera US$ 6.600 millones de Dólares por año al PBI de la República Argentina». Ley de Bases
La Cámara de Diputados de Argentina aprobó en general la Ley Bases impulsada por el Gobierno de Javier Milei tras una serie de modificaciones al proyecto original. El oficialismo contó el apoyo del radicalismo, el PRO y Hacemos Coalición Federal (HCF) y llegó a 142 votos afirmativos, con 106 en contra Unión por la Patria y el FIT, y 6 abstenciones. Alcanzó media sanción, y ahora irá a la Cámara de Senadores para su aprobación completa.

El listado final de privatizaciones será: Aerolíneas Argentinas, AYSA, Energía Argentina, Radio y Televisión Argentina, Intercargo, Correo Argentino, Belgrano Cargas, Ferrocarriles Argentinos y Corredores Viales. Tras el debate de la Ley Bases el foco estará en el «Pacto de Mayo» que propuso el Presidente Javier Milei en la apertura de sesiones ordinarias, para establecer un «nuevo orden económico argentino», que se firmará el Sábado, 25 de Mayo de 2024, en la Ciudad de Córdoba.

Aerolíneas Argentinas ha anunciado el retorno de los vuelos en la ruta Buenos Aires/AEP—Río Cuarto/RCU, después de haber sido suspendida semanas atrás.
