Deutsche Aircraft has communicated its 2Q2024 Newsletter reporting some achievements achieved during the second quarter of this year 2024 of regional aviation.

Deutsche Aircraft continues to innovate with developments at Dornier Aircraft supporting climate-neutral aviation in Northern Europe. Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) play a crucial role in achieving near climate-neutral aviation. In collaboration with key stakeholders Energi i Nord, BLU, and Bodø Municipality from the energy and aviation industries in northern Norway, the company has organized a very productive conference focused on the commercial development of e-fuel in this region.

The German company has reached additional milestones for the D328eco 40-seater sustainable turboprop by signing agreements with suppliers Cyient (India) and Satys Cabin (France). Market demand is strong and we are making significant progress in filling our customer order book, including the Asia-Pacific region, which is one of the fastest-growing regional markets.

D328 fleet after-sales support
Deutsche Aircraft maintains a strategic partnership with Airplane Painter, a painting and sealing service provider based in Toulouse, France. Airplane Painter has been chosen as the exclusive supplier for the stripping and repainting of the D328® fleet in service. Aerospace pioneers at ILA Berlin 2024. Innovative D328® UpLift flight testbed, a collaboration between Deutsche Aircraft and the German Aerospace Center (DLR), showcases cross-sector aerospace capabilities and is laying the foundation for innovative advancements in the German aviation industry.

Highlighting the unwavering commitment to innovative and sustainable aviation, the company supports industry partners as a key OEM for the D328® UpLift, which was displayed on the DLR stand. Our R&T team proudly participated in ILA Berlin 2024, interacting with industry professionals at the BMWK stand where the D328ALPHA aircraft was displayed. Thanks to our joint efforts with DLR, the first test flight of the D328® UpLift aircraft from Oberpfaffenhofen Airport in Weßling to ILA Berlin powered by aromatic-free synthetic fuel was successfully carried out.

The HR team was part of the ILA Talent Hub, which turned out to be an ideal platform to connect with top talent, both inside and outside the industry. With our participation, we seek to attract trained professionals eager to contribute to the future of aviation.
